Osoba koja je preboljela covid-19 i primila je jednu dozu cjepiva Pfizer/BioNTech ili Moderna podjednako je ili čak i bolje zaštićena od nekoga tko nikad nije imao koronavirusnu bolest i dobio je dvije doze cjepiva, pokazalo je novo istraživanje.
Rezultati istraživanja objavljeni su u časopisu New England Journal of Medicine.
Znanstvenici Medicinskog fakulteta Icahn na Mount Sinaju u New Yorku proučavali su uzorke krvi 110 osoba od kojih je 43 bilo zaraženo koronavirusom prije cijepljenja, a 67 nije.
Svi sudionici primili su ili cjepivo Pfizer/BioNTech ili Moderna koje se temelji na novog tehnologiji glasničke RNK.
Utvrdili su da su ispitanici koji su bili zaraženi koronavirusom prije prve doze cjepiva "brzo razvili ujednačeni, visoki titar antitijela unutar nekoliko dana od cijepljenja".
Pojam titar označava koncentraciju antitijela.
Znanstvenici su opetovano uzimali uzorke i utvrdili da su u danima nakon prve doze cjepiva razine antitijela kod onih koji su preboljeli zarazu koronavirusom bile 10 do 45 puta veće nego kod onih koji nisu bili zaraženi koronavirusom prije cijepljenja.
Do trenutka kad su primili drugu dozu cjepiva razine antitijela među onima koji su preboljeli koronavirus još su uvijek bile šest puta veće nego kod onih koji se nisu zarazili.
"Kod osoba koje su preboljele covid-19 nije uočen porast titra antitijela nakon primanja druge doze cjepiva", napisali su znanstvenici što pokazuje da je dodatna doza cjepiva od ograničene koristi za osobe koje su pretrpjele zarazu.
Nije uočena razlika u proizvodnji antitjela između dva cjepiva.
Tim je proučavao i postoje li razlike u nuspojavama na cjepivo među 230 ispitanika od kojih je dio prebolio covid-19, a dio nije.
Nisu uočene ozbiljne nuspojave koje bi vodile u hospitalizaciju.
Osobe koje su prije cijepljenja imale već razvijen imunitet na koronavirus imali su češće blage do umjerene nuspojave poput slabosti, glavobolja, groznice i vrućice, mišićnih bolova i bolova u zglobovima.
No tim je upozorio da su potrebna dodatna istraživanja kako bi se to potvrdilo.

Osoba koja je preboljela covid-19 i primila je jednu dozu cjepiva Pfizer/BioNTech ili Moderna podjednako je ili čak i bolje zaštićena od nekoga tko nikad nije imao koronavirusnu bolest i dobio je dvije doze cjepiva, pokazalo je novo istraživanje.
Rezultati istraživanja objavljeni su u časopisu New England Journal of Medicine.
Znanstvenici Medicinskog fakulteta Icahn na Mount Sinaju u New Yorku proučavali su uzorke krvi 110 osoba od kojih je 43 bilo zaraženo koronavirusom prije cijepljenja, a 67 nije.
Svi sudionici primili su ili cjepivo Pfizer/BioNTech ili Moderna koje se temelji na novog tehnologiji glasničke RNK.
Utvrdili su da su ispitanici koji su bili zaraženi koronavirusom prije prve doze cjepiva "brzo razvili ujednačeni, visoki titar antitijela unutar nekoliko dana od cijepljenja".
Pojam titar označava koncentraciju antitijela.
Znanstvenici su opetovano uzimali uzorke i utvrdili da su u danima nakon prve doze cjepiva razine antitijela kod onih koji su preboljeli zarazu koronavirusom bile 10 do 45 puta veće nego kod onih koji nisu bili zaraženi koronavirusom prije cijepljenja.
Do trenutka kad su primili drugu dozu cjepiva razine antitijela među onima koji su preboljeli koronavirus još su uvijek bile šest puta veće nego kod onih koji se nisu zarazili.
"Kod osoba koje su preboljele covid-19 nije uočen porast titra antitijela nakon primanja druge doze cjepiva", napisali su znanstvenici što pokazuje da je dodatna doza cjepiva od ograničene koristi za osobe koje su pretrpjele zarazu.
Nije uočena razlika u proizvodnji antitjela između dva cjepiva.
Tim je proučavao i postoje li razlike u nuspojavama na cjepivo među 230 ispitanika od kojih je dio prebolio covid-19, a dio nije.
Nisu uočene ozbiljne nuspojave koje bi vodile u hospitalizaciju.
Osobe koje su prije cijepljenja imale već razvijen imunitet na koronavirus imali su češće blage do umjerene nuspojave poput slabosti, glavobolja, groznice i vrućice, mišićnih bolova i bolova u zglobovima.
No tim je upozorio da su potrebna dodatna istraživanja kako bi se to potvrdilo.
