Veliki dijelovi Europe, uključujući Dalmatinsku zagoru i otoke, suočavaju se s iseljavanjem mladog stanovništva, malim brojem djece i starenjem stanovnika. Nekada živa i vitalna sela danas su ispražnjena, a život u njima otežan i usporen. Zahvaljujući hrvatskoj inicijativi, demografska revitalizacija je određena kao jedan od prioriteta europskog strateškog programa do 2024., a po prvi puta je i institucionalno prepoznata novim resorom demografije za koji je zadužena potpredsjednica Europske komisije Dubravka Šuica.

Kao potpredsjednik Međugrupe Europskog parlamenta za demografske izazove, ravnotežu obiteljskog i poslovnog života i tranzicije mladih, zastupnik Ressler (HDZ/EPP) priznaje da je teško preokrenuti negativne demografske trendove, ali ističe da nema oporavka Europe bez podrške obiteljima, kao temelju društva i preduvjetu vitalnosti. “Nitko više ne može ignorirati negativne demografske pokazatelje jer ozbiljno ugrožavaju oporavak i razvoj Europe. Demografske promjene obuhvaćaju pad stanovništva, depopulaciju mnogih europski regija, kao i odljev mozgova, nizak natalitet i starenje cjelokupnog stanovništva. Ovo su prijelomne trenutci i jedino zajedničke europske politike mogu spriječiti da uskoro već bude kasno za reakciju.”

Zastupnik Ressler naglašava da su demografske politike na europskoj razini usko povezane sa smanjivanjem gospodarskih razlika unutar EU. Kao izvjestitelj za proračun za 2021. godinu u ime najvećeg parlamentarnog kluba, smatra da se mora snažno nastaviti s ulaganjem u razvoj slabije razvijenih dijelova Europe, što ima utjecaj i na privlačnost života u tim krajevima.

“Ruralna područja moraju dobiti zamah kako bi se ostvario njihov puni potencijal i kako bi ostali poželjno mjesto za zasnivanje obitelji, ali i kvalitetno radno mjesto.” zaključio je Ressler. U tom kontekstu, hvali i demografske politike Splitsko-dalmatinske županije koje vidi kao model ulaganja u dugoročni razvoj ruralnih krajeva, a s kojima ga je upoznao župan Boban prilikom prošlotjednog posjeta zastupnika Splitu i Solinu.

Veliki dijelovi Europe, uključujući Dalmatinsku zagoru i otoke, suočavaju se s iseljavanjem mladog stanovništva, malim brojem djece i starenjem stanovnika. Nekada živa i vitalna sela danas su ispražnjena, a život u njima otežan i usporen. Zahvaljujući hrvatskoj inicijativi, demografska revitalizacija je određena kao jedan od prioriteta europskog strateškog programa do 2024., a po prvi puta je i institucionalno prepoznata novim resorom demografije za koji je zadužena potpredsjednica Europske komisije Dubravka Šuica.

Kao potpredsjednik Međugrupe Europskog parlamenta za demografske izazove, ravnotežu obiteljskog i poslovnog života i tranzicije mladih, zastupnik Ressler (HDZ/EPP) priznaje da je teško preokrenuti negativne demografske trendove, ali ističe da nema oporavka Europe bez podrške obiteljima, kao temelju društva i preduvjetu vitalnosti. “Nitko više ne može ignorirati negativne demografske pokazatelje jer ozbiljno ugrožavaju oporavak i razvoj Europe. Demografske promjene obuhvaćaju pad stanovništva, depopulaciju mnogih europski regija, kao i odljev mozgova, nizak natalitet i starenje cjelokupnog stanovništva. Ovo su prijelomne trenutci i jedino zajedničke europske politike mogu spriječiti da uskoro već bude kasno za reakciju.”

Zastupnik Ressler naglašava da su demografske politike na europskoj razini usko povezane sa smanjivanjem gospodarskih razlika unutar EU. Kao izvjestitelj za proračun za 2021. godinu u ime najvećeg parlamentarnog kluba, smatra da se mora snažno nastaviti s ulaganjem u razvoj slabije razvijenih dijelova Europe, što ima utjecaj i na privlačnost života u tim krajevima.

“Ruralna područja moraju dobiti zamah kako bi se ostvario njihov puni potencijal i kako bi ostali poželjno mjesto za zasnivanje obitelji, ali i kvalitetno radno mjesto.” zaključio je Ressler. U tom kontekstu, hvali i demografske politike Splitsko-dalmatinske županije koje vidi kao model ulaganja u dugoročni razvoj ruralnih krajeva, a s kojima ga je upoznao župan Boban prilikom prošlotjednog posjeta zastupnika Splitu i Solinu.

Veliki dijelovi Europe, uključujući Dalmatinsku zagoru i otoke, suočavaju se s iseljavanjem mladog stanovništva, malim brojem djece i starenjem stanovnika. Nekada živa i vitalna sela danas su ispražnjena, a život u njima otežan i usporen. Zahvaljujući hrvatskoj inicijativi, demografska revitalizacija je određena kao jedan od prioriteta europskog strateškog programa do 2024., a po prvi puta je i institucionalno prepoznata novim resorom demografije za koji je zadužena potpredsjednica Europske komisije Dubravka Šuica.

Kao potpredsjednik Međugrupe Europskog parlamenta za demografske izazove, ravnotežu obiteljskog i poslovnog života i tranzicije mladih, zastupnik Ressler (HDZ/EPP) priznaje da je teško preokrenuti negativne demografske trendove, ali ističe da nema oporavka Euro...
