Potpredsjednica Socijalista i demokrata u Europskom parlamentu Biljana Borzan je ispred svoje političke grupe poslala pismo predsjednici Europske komisije Ursuli von der Leyen, predsjedniku vijeća Charlesu Michelu te premjeru Plenkoviću kako je u ovoj krizi za oporavak turizma nužno sačuvati povjerenje putnika u prava koja im jamči EU. Zadovoljna je odlukom Europske komisije da sačuva prava putnika na povrat novca za putovanja otkazana uslijed pandemije korona virusa.

„Čak 12 država članica je tražilo da se ukinu prava na povrat novca u slučaju otkazivanja leta zbog korona virusa. Socijalisti i demokrati smatraju kako se kriza avioprijevoznika ne smije lomiti preko leđa građana. Tražimo uspostavljanje posebnog fonda za turizam u okviru novog proračuna EU koji bi trebao nadoknaditi gubitke turističkih operatera i pomoći obnovi sektora. Međutim, da bi do povratka turista došlo, nužno je osigurati da bez straha mogu kupovati karte znajući kako im EU jamči pravo na povrat u slučaju povećanja zaraze“, rekla je Borzan.

Procjena je kako je oko 87 posto letova u EU otkazano zbog korona virusa. Europski zakon o pravima putnika u zračnom prometu je predvidio ovakve situacije i premda se neka prava suspendiraju, pravo n povrat novca putnicima u slučaju otkazivanja leta je i dalje na snazi.

„Neke aviokompanije su od samog početka krize odbijale građanima vratiti njihov novac. Europski potrošački centri bilježe povećanje upita potrošača za trećinu u odnosu na prošlu godinu. Čak 44 posto upita vezano je za prava putnika u zračnom prometu. Procjena je da su aviokompanije u ovom trenutku dužne putnicima 32,3 milijarde eura refundacija“, kaže Borzan.

Europska komisija je u današnjim preporukama za transport i turizam unatoč pritiscima potvrdila pravo na povrat novca u slučaju otkazanog putovanja.

„Prema zadnjim podacima Državnog zavoda za statistiku, u Hrvatskoj se godišnje ostvari oko 330 tisuća putovanja avionom, a taj broj se svake godine značajno povećava. U Hrvatskoj je to povećanje čak veće od europskog prosjeka. Velika većina građana se također nalazi u financijskim problemima uslijed povećanja nezaposlenosti izazvanog krizom, i apsolutno je neprihvatljivo da se građane „dere“ kako bi se spasilo velike igrače“, rekla je Borzan.

Potpredsjednica Socijalista i demokrata u Europskom parlamentu Biljana Borzan je ispred svoje političke grupe poslala pismo predsjednici Europske komisije Ursuli von der Leyen, predsjedniku vijeća Charlesu Michelu te premjeru Plenkoviću kako je u ovoj krizi za oporavak turizma nužno sačuvati povjerenje putnika u prava koja im jamči EU. Zadovoljna je odlukom Europske komisije da sačuva prava putnika na povrat novca za putovanja otkazana uslijed pandemije korona virusa.

„Čak 12 država članica je tražilo da se ukinu prava na povrat novca u slučaju otkazivanja leta zbog korona virusa. Socijalisti i demokrati smatraju kako se kriza avioprijevoznika ne smije lomiti preko leđa građana. Tražimo uspostavljanje posebnog fonda za turizam u okviru novog proračuna EU koji bi trebao nadoknaditi gubitke turističkih operatera i pomoći obnovi sektora. Međutim, da bi do povratka turista došlo, nužno je osigurati da bez straha mogu kupovati karte znajući kako im EU jamči pravo na povrat u slučaju povećanja zaraze“, rekla je Borzan.

Procjena je kako je oko 87 posto letova u EU otkazano zbog korona virusa. Europski zakon o pravima putnika u zračnom prometu je predvidio ovakve situacije i premda se neka prava suspendiraju, pravo n povrat novca putnicima u slučaju otkazivanja leta je i dalje na snazi.

„Neke aviokompanije su od samog početka krize odbijale građanima vratiti njihov novac. Europski potrošački centri bilježe povećanje upita potrošača za trećinu u odnosu na prošlu godinu. Čak 44 posto upita vezano je za prava putnika u zračnom prometu. Procjena je da su aviokompanije u ovom trenutku dužne putnicima 32,3 milijarde eura refundacija“, kaže Borzan.

Europska komisija je u današnjim preporukama za transport i turizam unatoč pritiscima potvrdila pravo na povrat novca u slučaju otkazanog putovanja.

„Prema zadnjim podacima Državnog zavoda za statistiku, u Hrvatskoj se godišnje ostvari oko 330 tisuća putovanja avionom, a taj broj se svake godine značajno povećava. U Hrvatskoj je to povećanje čak veće od europskog prosjeka. Velika većina građana se također nalazi u financijskim problemima uslijed povećanja nezaposlenosti izazvanog krizom, i apsolutno je neprihvatljivo da se građane „dere“ kako bi se spasilo velike igrače“, rekla je Borzan.
