Brutalna je istina da smo svi za volanom potencijalni ubojice. Prometne nesreće sa smrtnim posljedicama dogode se u stotinki sekunde zbog nepažnje vozača ili pješaka. Često takve tragedije unište život cijeloj žrtvinoj obitelji, ali ni najbliži srodnici onoga tko je skrivio nesreću, a naravno, najviše on sam – nisu lišeni stigme, tuge i jada. Riječju: ne dogodilo se nikomu!

Strašno je to što je desetogodišnji dječak koji je nastradao u Štikadi kod Gračaca teško ozlijeđen, a još više što je krivac pobjegao s mjesta nesreće umjesto da iziđe iz automobila i pomogne mu. A mogao je...

Slučaj je dobio na težini zato što su ga nakon kukavičkog bijega uhitili zahvaljujući savjesnim građanima, očevicima nesreće koja je mogla biti kobna za troje djece koja su pješačila cestom, od kojih je dvoje u posljednji tren umaknulo vozilu koje se prema njima kretalo bez kontrole.

Teško je reći zašto je vozač bježao. Što mu se zbivalo u glavi kad je osvijestio da je udario dijete? Je li nastavio dalje voziti u šoku, ne mireći se sa zlom sudbinom, ili je to učinio namjerno da izbjegne kaznu, znajući da će u pitanje biti doveden njegov posao, gola egzistencija? Sve to trebaju razmrsiti istražitelji i suci, kako bi se na koncu zadovoljila pravda, no ključno je to da je  predstojnik Ureda potpredsjednice Vlade Anje Šimprage – vozio pijan!

Dječakovo je stanje zahvaljujući liječnicima KBC-a Zagreb stabilno pa bi ova tužna priča mogla imati sretan kraj, no pitanje je kako je moguće da jedan državni službenik koji radi s premijerovovom zamjenicom, jednom od najodgovornijih osoba u Hrvatskoj, jurca nacvrcan po Lici i dovodi u pitanje tuđe živote. I što bi bilo da je dječak smrtno stradao? Ima li kazne koja bi zadovoljila pravdu i utješila njegove najmilije? Nema, naravno.

Vožnja u pijanom stanju može se protumačiti kao obično, glupo junačenje po sistemu "a šta će mi bit", no kad su u pitanju državni službenici, dobiva na težini. Prolaze li ljudi koji rade za Vladu, dapače, provode sate i sate dnevno s ministrima, praktički najvažnijim ljudima u hijerarhiji vlasti, sigurnosnu provjeru? Ili ama baš svatko može sjesti za upravljač Plenkovićeva, Šimpragina ili Butkovićeva službenog vozila?

Plašim se da ovdje nije bilo riječi o trenutku slabosti i nesmotrenosti na cesti, nego o posljedicama uhljebljivanja u sustavu bez prethodno zadovoljenih kriterija koji bi pratili određeno radno mjesto, ali nedopustivo je i da mu nađu alkohol u krvi i da ostavi žrtvu na mjestu tragedije. Tješi što će odmah biti pokrenuto njegovo razrješenje s dužnosti predstojnika Ureda potpredsjednice Vlade i što, ponavljam, dijete više nije u životnoj opasnosti. Ne ponovilo se.

Brutalna je istina da smo svi za volanom potencijalni ubojice. Prometne nesreće sa smrtnim posljedicama dogode se u stotinki sekunde zbog nepažnje vozača ili pješaka. Često takve tragedije unište život cijeloj žrtvinoj obitelji, ali ni najbliži srodnici onoga tko je skrivio nesreću, a naravno, najviše on sam – nisu lišeni stigme, tuge i jada. Riječju: ne dogodilo se nikomu!

Strašno je to što je desetogodišnji dječak koji je nastradao u Štikadi kod Gračaca teško ozlijeđen, a još više što je krivac pobjegao s mjesta nesreće umjesto da iziđe iz automobila i pomogne mu. A mogao je...

Slučaj je dobio na težini zato što su ga nakon kukavičkog bijega uhitili zahvaljujući savjesnim građanima, očevicima nesreće koja je mogla biti kobna za troje djece koja su pješačila cestom, od kojih je dvoje u posljednji tren umaknulo vozilu koje se prema njima kretalo bez kontrole.

Teško je reći zašto je vozač bježao. Što mu se zbivalo u glavi kad je osvijestio da je udario dijete? Je li nastavio dalje voziti u šoku, ne mireći se sa zlom sudbinom, ili je to učinio namjerno da izbjegne kaznu, znajući da će u pitanje biti doveden njegov posao, gola egzistencija? Sve to trebaju razmrsiti istražitelji i suci, kako bi se na koncu zadovoljila pravda, no ključno je to da je  predstojnik Ureda potpredsjednice Vlade Anje Šimprage – vozio pijan!

Dječakovo je stanje zahvaljujući liječnicima KBC-a Zagreb stabilno pa bi ova tužna priča mogla imati sretan kraj, no pitanje je kako je moguće da jedan državni službenik koji radi s premijerovovom zamjenicom, jednom od najodgovornijih osoba u Hrvatskoj, jurca nacvrcan po Lici i dovodi u pitanje tuđe živote. I što bi bilo da je dječak smrtno stradao? Ima li kazne koja bi zadovoljila pravdu i utješila njegove najmilije? Nema, naravno.

Vožnja u pijanom stanju može se protumačiti kao obično, glupo junačenje po sistemu "a šta će mi bit", no kad su u pitanju državni službenici, dobiva na težini. Prolaze li ljudi koji rade za Vladu, dapače, provode sate i sate dnevno s ministrima, praktički najvažnijim ljudima u hijerarhiji vlasti, sigurnosnu provjeru? Ili ama baš svatko može sjesti za upravljač Plenkovićeva, Šimpragina ili Butkovićeva službenog vozila?

Plašim se da ovdje nije bilo riječi o trenutku slabosti i nesmotrenosti na cesti, nego o posljedicama uhljebljivanja u sustavu bez prethodno zadovoljenih kriterija koji bi pratili određeno radno mjesto, ali nedopustivo je i da mu nađu alkohol u krvi i da ostavi žrtvu na mjestu tragedije. Tješi što će odmah biti pokrenuto njegovo razrješenje s dužnosti predstojnika Ureda potpredsjednice Vlade i što, ponavljam, dijete više nije u životnoj opasnosti. Ne ponovilo se.

Brutalna je istina da smo svi za volanom potencijalni ubojice. Prometne nesreće sa smrtnim posljedicama dogode se u stotinki sekunde zbog nepažnje vozača ili pješaka. Često takve tragedije unište život cijeloj žrtvinoj obitelji, ali ni najbliži srodnici onoga tko je skrivio nesreću, a naravno, najviše on sam – nisu lišeni stigme, tuge i jada.
