Nakon Češke od nastupa na Svjetskom prvenstvu rukometaša u Egiptu odustala je i reprezentacija SAD, a umjesto njih u turnir će uskočiti Sjeverna Makedonija i Švicarska, potvrdila je Međunarodna rukometna federacija (IHF).

Obje reprezetacije su odustale zbog velikog broja zaraženih koronavirusom.

Američki rukometni savez je službeno priopćio da povlači svoje sudjelovanje na 27. Svjetskom prvenstvu nakon nekoliko pozitivnih rezultata nakon obveznih COVID-19 testova prije njihovog odlaska u Egipat.

SAD su postale druga reprezentacija koje je zbog koronavirusa odustala od nastupa u Egiptu nakon što je Češka ranije danas bila prisiljena otkazati svoje sudjelovanje.

Češka je na zadnjem testiranju imala 12 zaraženih igrača, a pozitivan test imao je i izbornik Jan Filip, te njegov asistent Daniel Kubeš.

"Definitivno smo izgubili nadu u utorak ujutro. Kad smo saznali da vjerojatno imamo trinaest zaraženih igrača, nismo vidjeli svjetlo na kraju tunela," kazao je izbornik Filip.

"Otkazivanjem sudjelovanja na prvenstvu donijeli smo vjerojatno najtežu odluku koju je svatko od nas donio u vezi s rukometom. Međutim, situacija oko reprezentacije apsolutno je kritična. Nismo željeli ulaziti ni u kakvu nedostojanstvenu situaciju ", dodao je direktor reprezentacije Daniel Curda.

Prema Pravilniku IHF-a vezanom za COVID-19 za Svjetsko prvenstvo, prva zamjena je Sjeverna Makedonija koja će uskočiti u skupinu G u kojoj su Švedska, Egipat i Čile.

"Sjeverna Makedonija bila je u pripravnosti kako bi sudjelovala u slučaju da se neka momčad povuče u bilo kojem trenutku, a nedavno je imala nekoliko trening utakmica," kazao je jedan od čelnika SP-a Khaled Fathy.

Nakon Češke od nastupa na Svjetskom prvenstvu rukometaša u Egiptu odustala je i reprezentacija SAD, a umjesto njih u turnir će uskočiti Sjeverna Makedonija i Švicarska, potvrdila je Međunarodna rukometna federacija (IHF).

Obje reprezetacije su odustale zbog velikog broja zaraženih koronavirusom.

Američki rukometni savez je službeno priopćio da povlači svoje sudjelovanje na 27. Svjetskom prvenstvu nakon nekoliko pozitivnih rezultata nakon obveznih COVID-19 testova prije njihovog odlaska u Egipat.

SAD su postale druga reprezentacija koje je zbog koronavirusa odustala od nastupa u Egiptu nakon što je Češka ranije danas bila prisiljena otkazati svoje sudjelovanje.

Češka je na zadnjem testiranju imala 12 zaraženih igrača, a pozitivan test imao je i izbornik Jan Filip, te njegov asistent Daniel Kubeš.

"Definitivno smo izgubili nadu u utorak ujutro. Kad smo saznali da vjerojatno imamo trinaest zaraženih igrača, nismo vidjeli svjetlo na kraju tunela," kazao je izbornik Filip.

"Otkazivanjem sudjelovanja na prvenstvu donijeli smo vjerojatno najtežu odluku koju je svatko od nas donio u vezi s rukometom. Međutim, situacija oko reprezentacije apsolutno je kritična. Nismo željeli ulaziti ni u kakvu nedostojanstvenu situaciju ", dodao je direktor reprezentacije Daniel Curda.

Prema Pravilniku IHF-a vezanom za COVID-19 za Svjetsko prvenstvo, prva zamjena je Sjeverna Makedonija koja će uskočiti u skupinu G u kojoj su Švedska, Egipat i Čile.

"Sjeverna Makedonija bila je u pripravnosti kako bi sudjelovala u slučaju da se neka momčad povuče u bilo kojem trenutku, a nedavno je imala nekoliko trening utakmica," kazao je jedan od čelnika SP-a Khaled Fathy.

SP rukomet: Nakon Češke odustali i Amerikanci

Nakon Češke od nastupa na Svjetskom prvenstvu rukometaša u Egiptu odustala je i reprezentacija SAD, a umjesto njih u turnir će uskočiti Sjeverna Makedonija i Švicarska, potvrdila je Međunarodna rukometna federacija (IHF).

Obje reprezetacije su odustale zbog velikog broja zaraženih koronavirusom.

Američki rukometni savez je službeno priopćio da povlači svoje sudjelovanje na 27. Svjetskom prvenstvu nakon nekoliko pozitivnih rezultata nakon obveznih COVID-19 testova prije njihovog odlaska u Egipat.

SAD su postale druga reprezentacija koje je zbog koronavirusa odustala od nastupa u Egiptu nakon što je Češka ranije danas bila prisiljena otkazati svoje sudjelovanje.
