U velikom okršaju desetki na Maksimiru u susretu Hrvatske i Danske ulogu domaćina imat će kapetan „kockastih” Luka Modrić, čovjek koji je pobijedio vrijeme.

Modrić i sa 37 godina na leđima nosi Hrvatsku i Real Madrid. I nema naznaka kada bi mogao dići sidro.

Modrić je prije trinaest dana proslavio 37. rođendan. Neki njegovi vršnjaci, bivši kolege nogometaši koji su osim profesije dijelili i sličnu ili istu poziciju na sredini terena, odavno su već objesili kopačke o klin ili preselili u lige u kojima igraju u drugoj-trećoj brzini, a kamoli da i dalje igraju na najvišem nivou. Modrić i dalje kreira igru klupskog prvaka Europe Real Madrida i reprezentativnog viceprvaka svijeta.

Za Modrića su godine samo broj. Naravno, prije ili kasnije morat će reći dosta, ali budimo realni, gotovo svi smo očekivali kako će se to do sada već i dogoditi. A Luka ne posustaje, kapetan ne pristaje u luku. Pravi je fenomen.

Rekorder sa 152 utakmice za reprezentaciju 

Očekivalo se između ostalog tako i kako će skorašnje Svjetsko prvenstvo u Kataru biti njegovo konačno zbogom reprezentaciji. To bi onda značilo i da je večerašnji susret u Zagrebu u tom scenariju i njegov posljednji domaći okršaj u kockastom dresu u službenim susretima na domaćem terenu, oproštaj s navijačima, njegovim Maksimirom. Međutim, ono što je dugogodišnji liječnik reprezentacije Hrvatske dr. Zoran Bahtijarević poručio na svom oproštaju sugerira drugačije.

- Moj plan je bio otići kad se Luka i starija generacija oproste od reprezentacije, tako da se povučem i da to nitko ne skuži. Međutim, Luka je odlučio ostati do Eura, ha, ha, a to bi ipak bilo teško dočekati.

Obistine li se te najave izrečene u veseloj atmosferi na odlasku, Modrić će Hrvatsku voditi čak i u kvalifikacijama za Euro 2024. godine. U vrijeme Eura u Njemačkoj imat će 38 godina i devet mjeseci. 

Treba li i naglašavati kako je Modrić apsolutni hrvatski rekorder sa 152 nastupa za A reprezentaciju. Od aktivnih suigrača najbliži mu je Ivan Perišić koji je na samo 113 utakmica. Vodio je reprezentaciju do najvećeg uspjeha srebra na Mundijalu u Rusiji prije četiri godine, a te godine je osim titule najboljeg igrača SP-a osvojio i Zlatnu loptu France Footballa.

Na suprotnoj strani Modriću će večeras biti i njegov formalni svojevremeni nasljednik u Tottenhamu. Dres londonskog kluba Modrić je nosio od 2008. do 2012. godine. Eriksen je na tadašnji White Hart Lane stigao godinu dana kasnije, a ostao je u klubu sve do 2020. godine i odlaska u Inter.

Gost u obračunu velikih desetki na Maksimiru je čovjek koji je pobijedio smrt - Christian Eriksen.

Prije petnaest mjeseci sedam godina od Luke Modrića mlađi Eriksen gotovo je i doslovno ostavio srce na terenu. Igrač reprezentacije Danske s brojem deset doživio je srčani udar na utakmici Eura svoje reprezentacije i Finske (0:1) 12. lipnja prošle godine u Kopenhagenu. Oživljavali su ga na terenu, bitka za život nastavila se potom i u bolnici, ali je u toj najvećoj utakmici života na koncu Eriksen ipak pobijedio.

Igra s ugrađenim defibrilatorom

U tim trenucima svaki spomen nogometa činio se izlišan. Međutim, Eriksen je mimo svih očekivanja nastavio karijeru. S ugrađenim kardioverterom-defibrilatorom nije mogao nastaviti karijeru u Italiji, u svom dosadašnjem klubu Interu. Međutim, prošle sezone engleski Brentford mu je pružio priliku, a on je u redovima jednog od najmanjih premijerligaša, kojem je pristupio u siječnju, pokazao da sve ono što mu se dogodilo nije ostavilo velikog traga. 

Mali Brentford mu je bio odskočna daska prema teatru snova Old Traffordu. Brentford ga je želio zadržati ovog ljeta, ali zov velikog Manchester Uniteda je bio jači. Bilo je sumnji ovog ljeta i u to kako će se Eriksen poslije svega snaći u velikom klubu, bez obzira što United generalno pamti puno bolje dane. Međutim, Eriksen se prometnuo u standardnog prvotimca momčadi trenera Erika ten Haga.

Danska se i bez Eriksena probila sve do polufinala prošlogodišnjeg Eura, do kontroverzne eliminacije od domaćina završnice turnira Engleske, susreta s kojeg su se vukli repovi zbog suđenja. U ožujku ove godine Eriksen se vratio i u reprezentaciju. Trebalo mu je samo dvije minute nakon ulaska u igru da zabije Nizozemcima. A večeras će se nadmetati s Modrićem i prijetiti Hrvatskoj, tražiti revanš za poraz od Luke i „kockastih” u ruletu jedanaesteraca u osmini finala SP-a u Rusiji prije četiri godine.

Neki njegovi vršnjaci, bivši kolege nogometaši koji su osim profesije dijelili i sličnu ili istu poziciju na sredini terena, odavno su već objesili kopačke o klin ili preselili u lige u kojima igraju u drugoj-trećoj brzini, a kamoli da i dalje igraju na najvišem nivou. Modrić i dalje kreira igru klupskog prvaka Europe Real Madrida i reprezentativnog viceprvaka svijeta.

Za Modrića su godine samo broj. Naravno, prije ili kasnije morat će reći dosta, ali budimo realni, gotovo svi smo očekivali kako će se to do sada već i dogoditi. A Luka ne posustaje, kapetan ne pristaje u luku. Pravi je fenomen.

Rekorder sa 152 utakmice za reprezentaciju 

Očekivalo se između ostalog tako i kako će skorašnje Svjetsko prvenstvo u Kataru biti njegovo konačno zbogom reprezentaciji. To bi onda značilo i da je večerašnji susret u Zagrebu u tom scenariju i njegov posljednji domaći okršaj u kockastom dresu u službenim susretima na domaćem terenu, oproštaj s navijačima, njegovim Maksimirom. Međutim, ono što je dugogodišnji liječnik reprezentacije Hrvatske dr. Zoran Bahtijarević poručio na svom oproštaju sugerira drugačije.

- Moj plan je bio otići kad se Luka i starija generacija oproste od reprezentacije, tako da se povučem i da to nitko ne skuži. Međutim, Luka je odlučio ostati do Eura, ha, ha, a to bi ipak bilo teško dočekati.

Obistine li se te najave izrečene u veseloj atmosferi na odlasku, Modrić će Hrvatsku voditi čak i u kvalifikacijama za Euro 2024. godine. U vrijeme Eura u Njemačkoj imat će 38 godina i devet mjeseci. 

Treba li i naglašavati kako je Modrić apsolutni hrvatski rekorder sa 152 nastupa za A reprezentaciju. Od aktivnih suigrača najbliži mu je Ivan Perišić koji je na samo 113 utakmica. Vodio je reprezentaciju do najvećeg uspjeha srebra na Mundijalu u Rusiji prije četiri godine, a te godine je osim titule najboljeg igrača SP-a osvojio i Zlatnu loptu France Footballa.

Na suprotnoj strani Modriću će večeras biti i njegov formalni svojevremeni nasljednik u Tottenhamu. Dres londonskog kluba Modrić je nosio od 2008. do 2012. godine. Eriksen je na tadašnji White Hart Lane stigao godinu dana kasnije, a ostao je u klubu sve do 2020. godine i odlaska u Inter.

Prije petnaest mjeseci sedam godina od Luke Modrića mlađi Eriksen gotovo je i doslovno ostavio srce na terenu. Igrač reprezentacije Danske s brojem deset doživio je srčani udar na utakmici Eura svoje reprezentacije i Finske (0:1) 12. lipnja prošle godine u Kopenhagenu. Oživljavali su ga na terenu, bitka za život nastavila se potom i u bolnici, ali je u toj najvećoj utakmici života na koncu Eriksen ipak pobijedio.

Igra s ugrađenim defibrilatorom

U tim trenucima svaki spomen nogometa činio se izlišan. Međutim, Eriksen je mimo svih očekivanja nastavio karijeru. S ugrađenim kardioverterom-defibrilatorom nije mogao nastaviti karijeru u Italiji, u svom dosadašnjem klubu Interu. Međutim, prošle sezone engleski Brentford mu je pružio priliku, a on je u redovima jednog od najmanjih premijerligaša, kojem je pristupio u siječnju, pokazao da sve ono što mu se dogodilo nije ostavilo velikog traga. 

Mali Brentford mu je bio odskočna daska prema teatru snova Old Traffordu. Brentford ga je želio zadržati ovog ljeta, ali zov velikog Manchester Uniteda je bio jači. Bilo je sumnji ovog ljeta i u to kako će se Eriksen poslije svega snaći u velikom klubu, bez obzira što United generalno pamti puno bolje dane. Međutim, Eriksen se prometnuo u standardnog prvotimca momčadi trenera Erika ten Haga.

Danska se i bez Eriksena probila sve do polufinala prošlogodišnjeg Eura, do kontroverzne eliminacije od domaćina završnice turnira Engleske, susreta s kojeg su se vukli repovi zbog suđenja. U ožujku ove godine Eriksen se vratio i u reprezentaciju. Trebalo mu je samo dvije minute nakon ulaska u igru da zabije Nizozemcima. A večeras će se nadmetati s Modrićem i prijetiti Hrvatskoj, tražiti revanš za poraz od Luke i „kockastih” u ruletu jedanaesteraca u osmini finala SP-a u Rusiji prije četiri godine.

U velikom okršaju desetki na Maksimiru u susretu Hrvatske i Danske ulogu domaćina imat će kapetan „kockastih” Luka Modrić, čovjek koji je pobijedio vrijeme.

Modrić i sa 37 godina na leđima nosi Hrvatsku i Real Madrid. I nema naznaka kada bi mogao dići sidro.

Modrić je prije trinaest dana proslavio 37. rođendan.
