Iz Banovine javljaju kako je projekt "Biraj biciklu!" osvojio Green prix nacionalno priznanje u kategoriji „misli globalno, djeluj lokalno“ kojim se nagrađuju projekti jedinica lokalne i područne samouprave koji su ostvarili najveći doprinos u postizanju klimatskih ciljeva na svom području u razdoblju od 2022. do 2023. godine. Priznanje je uručeno u sklopu regionalnog Greencajt festivala održivosti koji se održao u Zagrebu 24. i 25. svibnja.

- Projekt "Biraj biciklu!" prepoznat je u promicanju zelenih i održivih politika, kao i načela partnerstva i suradnje između više gradova i općina. Veliko priznanje tako je dano Gradu Splitu kao nositelju projekta te projektnim partnerima – gradovima Solinu, Kaštelima i Trogiru te općinama Klisu, Dugopolju, Podstrani i Dicmu, kao i Razvojnoj agenciji Split – RaST koja je projekt izradila te aplicirala na sufinanciranje sredstvima Europske unije. Zaslužni za kvalitetnu realizaciju i pozitivne efekte projekta su i svi suradnici u provedbi, kao i sami građani koji su projekt prepoznali i doprinijeli njegovoj popularizaciji - navode u splitskoj gradskoj upravi.

S obzirom na prethodno nedovoljno razvijen sustav alternativnog javnog prijevoza na području Urbane aglomeracije Split, projektom se razvio sustav javnih bicikala te se populariziralo njihovo korištenje kao vrste prijevoza koja ima mnoge pozitivne efekte na zdravlje i na okoliš.
U sklopu projekta postavljen je 41 novi terminal s ukupno 242 bicikla (od čega 116 klasičnih i 126 električnih) te je izgrađena biciklistička prometnica u Trogiru na području obalnog pojasa i označena biciklistička i pješačka staza u Splitu u uvali Trstenik. Kako bi vožnja biciklima bila što sigurnija, u sklopu projekta izrađena je i Studija potencijala razvoja biciklističkih prometnica na području UAS-a.

- Projekt je popularizirao korištenje bicikla među građanima i više od očekivanog, i to u svih osam gradova i općina gdje se provodio, gdje je završetkom provedbe projekta zabilježeno čak 47.000 registriranih korisnika.
Građani su potrošili 53 milijuna kalorija pri vožnji biciklima za vrijeme trajanja projekta, a samo građani grada Splita su u godinu dana osam puta obišli zemaljsku kuglu koristeći javne bicikle. Dodatno je zanimljiv podatak kako je Split po broju dnevnih najmova u sklopu Nextbike platforme u top pet gradova u svijetu. Značaj projekta za javnost posebno u manjim općinama je što su različita naselja općina sada spojena i lakše dostupna.

Projekt je predstavljen na nekoliko domaćih i međunarodnih konferencija i summita kao primjer dobre prakse u provedbi okolišnih ciljeva održivog razvoja te implementacije smart city rješenja u gradovima: u Quebecu na simpoziju Svjetskog kongresa povijesnih gradova, u Barceloni na Intelligent Cities Challenge Conference and Mayors Forumu i na Smart City Expo World Congressu, u poljskom gradu Rzeszówu na Smart City&Smart Village konferenciji, na Liderovoj konferenciji Smart Cities 2023, u sklopu Erasmus+ projekta „Energy Usage and Green Public Transportation in Future Smart Cities“ te na Electric Evolution Festivalu.
Projekt "Biraj bickilu!" sufinanciran je sredstvima Europske unije iz Kohezijskog fonda u sklopu ITU mehanizma. Ukupna vrijednost projekta je 1.806.282,54 eura, a sufinanciran je sredstvima EU u iznosu od 1.445.802,20 eura.

Iz Banovine javljaju kako je projekt "Biraj biciklu!" osvojio Green prix nacionalno priznanje u kategoriji „misli globalno, djeluj lokalno“ kojim se nagrađuju projekti jedinica lokalne i područne samouprave koji su ostvarili najveći doprinos u postizanju klimatskih ciljeva na svom području u razdoblju od 2022. do 2023. godine. Priznanje je uručeno u sklopu regionalnog Greencajt festivala održivosti koji se održao u Zagrebu 24. i 25. svibnja.

- Projekt "Biraj biciklu!" prepoznat je u promicanju zelenih i održivih politika, kao i načela partnerstva i suradnje između više gradova i općina. Veliko priznanje tako je dano Gradu Splitu kao nositelju projekta te projektnim partnerima – gradovima Solinu, Kaštelima i Trogiru te općinama Klisu, Dugopolju, Podstrani i Dicmu, kao i Razvojnoj agenciji Split – RaST koja je projekt izradila te aplicirala na sufinanciranje sredstvima Europske unije. Zaslužni za kvalitetnu realizaciju i pozitivne efekte projekta su i svi suradnici u provedbi, kao i sami građani koji su projekt prepoznali i doprinijeli njegovoj popularizaciji - navode u splitskoj gradskoj upravi.

S obzirom na prethodno nedovoljno razvijen sustav alternativnog javnog prijevoza na području Urbane aglomeracije Split, projektom se razvio sustav javnih bicikala te se populariziralo njihovo korištenje kao vrste prijevoza koja ima mnoge pozitivne efekte na zdravlje i na okoliš.
U sklopu projekta postavljen je 41 novi terminal s ukupno 242 bicikla (od čega 116 klasičnih i 126 električnih) te je izgrađena biciklistička prometnica u Trogiru na području obalnog pojasa i označena biciklistička i pješačka staza u Splitu u uvali Trstenik. Kako bi vožnja biciklima bila što sigurnija, u sklopu projekta izrađena je i Studija potencijala razvoja biciklističkih prometnica na području UAS-a.

- Projekt je popularizirao korištenje bicikla među građanima i više od očekivanog, i to u svih osam gradova i općina gdje se provodio, gdje je završetkom provedbe projekta zabilježeno čak 47.000 registriranih korisnika.
Građani su potrošili 53 milijuna kalorija pri vožnji biciklima za vrijeme trajanja projekta, a samo građani grada Splita su u godinu dana osam puta obišli zemaljsku kuglu koristeći javne bicikle. Dodatno je zanimljiv podatak kako je Split po broju dnevnih najmova u sklopu Nextbike platforme u top pet gradova u svijetu. Značaj projekta za javnost posebno u manjim općinama je što su različita naselja općina sada spojena i lakše dostupna.

Projekt je predstavljen na nekoliko domaćih i međunarodnih konferencija i summita kao primjer dobre prakse u provedbi okolišnih ciljeva održivog razvoja te implementacije smart city rješenja u gradovima: u Quebecu na simpoziju Svjetskog kongresa povijesnih gradova, u Barceloni na Intelligent Cities Challenge Conference and Mayors Forumu i na Smart City Expo World Congressu, u poljskom gradu Rzeszówu na Smart City&Smart Village konferenciji, na Liderovoj konferenciji Smart Cities 2023, u sklopu Erasmus+ projekta „Energy Usage and Green Public Transportation in Future Smart Cities“ te na Electric Evolution Festivalu.
Projekt "Biraj bickilu!" sufinanciran je sredstvima Europske unije iz Kohezijskog fonda u sklopu ITU mehanizma. Ukupna vrijednost projekta je 1.806.282,54 eura, a sufinanciran je sredstvima EU u iznosu od 1.445.802,20 eura.
