Rachel Ashworth je nestalog sina pronašla beživotnog u jarku, lociravši ga preko Iphone aplikacije za praćenje, piše Metro.
Mladog Josha Ashwortha je, dok se vraćao kući iz noćnog izlaska u travnju prošle godine, udario BMW kojim je upravljao vozač bez dozvole, Cole Tresidder. Incident se zbio u blizini Granthama, Lincolnshire, a 22-godišnji vozač je pobjegao s mjesta nesreće i ostavio oštećeni automobil u blizini. Tresidder nije obavijestio policiju o nesretnom događaju.

Josh je tijekom izlaska i prije smrti bio u kontaktu sa svojom obitelji, a kada se sljedećeg jutra nije vratio kući, svi su ga odmah počeli tražiti. Aplikacija za praćenje iPhonea pokazala je da je njegov telefon nepomičan na mjestu blizu Somerby Hilla uz A52. Njegova majka pronašla ga je na spomenutoj lokaciji, kako leži licem prema dolje u jarku.
Svjedoci koji su se kratko prije nesreće našli u drugom automobilu rekli su da su vidjeli Tresiddera nedugo prije sudara i vjerovali su da je vozio preko ograničenja brzine. Godfrey Barlow, istražitelj sudara u policiji Lincolnshirea zaključio je da je Tresidder vozio prema Granthamu brzinom većom od dopuštene brzine, odnosno brzinom većom od 95 km/h kada je udario Josha. Tresidder je u to vrijeme bio pod zabranom upravljanja vozilom, jer je bio osuđen za neopreznu vožnju, nakon što se sudario s parkiranim automobilima u Granthamu 8. prosinca 2021. godine.
Policija je tada kod njega otkrila 39 paketića kokaina u vrijednosti od 1775 eura i više od 1100 eura u gotovini.
Dan nakon nesreće, Tresidder je na društvenim mrežama pročitao izvještaje o smrtnim slučajevima na cesti te se oko podneva predao policiji. Tada je objasnio da nesreću nije prijavio ranije, jer je bio bez osiguranja i da nije shvatio da je udario pješaka, već da je mislio da se radilo o jelenu.
Tresidder je nazvao tvrtku za popravku vozila u 21:37, tek nekoliko minuta nakon nesreće i zamolio ih da pokupe BMW, otkriveno je na sudu. Tada je o stravičnom iskustvu pronalaska poginulog sina progovorila Joshova majka upitavši Tressidera kako je mogao ostaviti "prekrasno ljudsko biće" na rubu ceste, dodavši da je mogao pozvati pomoć i poštedjeti je stravičnog prizora.
Na suđenju je utvrđeno da je Josh preminuo odmah nakon što je zadobio prijelom lubanje, ali trebalo je neko vrijeme prije nego što je obitelj to saznala. Majka 22-godišnjaka je objasnila da je danima proganjalo pitanje je li umro na licu mjesta ili ne, a svojeg je sina opisala kao "lijepog, kompleksnog i punog ljubavi". Joshov tata Simon Ashworth također je toplo govorio o svom djetetu i rekao da je njegova smrt ostavila veliku rupu.
Tresidder iz Springfield Roada u Leicesteru priznao je optužbu za uzrokovanje smrti nepažljivom vožnjom i nedostavljanjem uzorka. Također se izjasnio krivim za upravljanje vozilom dok je bio pod zabranom i bez osiguranja. Priznao je i posjedovanje kokaina, kao i namjeru opskrbe drogom.

Mladog Josha Ashwortha je, dok se vraćao kući iz noćnog izlaska u travnju prošle godine, udario BMW kojim je upravljao vozač bez dozvole, Cole Tresidder. Incident se zbio u blizini Granthama, Lincolnshire, a 22-godišnji vozač je pobjegao s mjesta nesreće i ostavio oštećeni automobil u blizini. Tresidder nije obavijestio policiju o nesretnom događaju.

Josh je tijekom izlaska i prije smrti bio u kontaktu sa svojom obitelji, a kada se sljedećeg jutra nije vratio kući, svi su ga odmah počeli tražiti. Aplikacija za praćenje iPhonea pokazala je da je njegov telefon nepomičan na mjestu blizu Somerby Hilla uz A52. Njegova majka pronašla ga je na spomenutoj lokaciji, kako leži licem prema dolje u jarku.
Svjedoci koji su se kratko prije nesreće našli u drugom automobilu rekli su da su vidjeli Tresiddera nedugo prije sudara i vjerovali su da je vozio preko ograničenja brzine. Godfrey Barlow, istražitelj sudara u policiji Lincolnshirea zaključio je da je Tresidder vozio prema Granthamu brzinom većom od dopuštene brzine, odnosno brzinom većom od 95 km/h kada je udario Josha. Tresidder je u to vrijeme bio pod zabranom upravljanja vozilom, jer je bio osuđen za neopreznu vožnju, nakon što se sudario s parkiranim automobilima u Granthamu 8. prosinca 2021. godine.
Policija je tada kod njega otkrila 39 paketića kokaina u vrijednosti od 1775 eura i više od 1100 eura u gotovini.
Dan nakon nesreće, Tresidder je na društvenim mrežama pročitao izvještaje o smrtnim slučajevima na cesti te se oko podneva predao policiji. Tada je objasnio da nesreću nije prijavio ranije, jer je bio bez osiguranja i da nije shvatio da je udario pješaka, već da je mislio da se radilo o jelenu.
Tresidder je nazvao tvrtku za popravku vozila u 21:37, tek nekoliko minuta nakon nesreće i zamolio ih da pokupe BMW, otkriveno je na sudu. Tada je o stravičnom iskustvu pronalaska poginulog sina progovorila Joshova majka upitavši Tressidera kako je mogao ostaviti "prekrasno ljudsko biće" na rubu ceste, dodavši da je mogao pozvati pomoć i poštedjeti je stravičnog prizora.
Na suđenju je utvrđeno da je Josh preminuo odmah nakon što je zadobio prijelom lubanje, ali trebalo je neko vrijeme prije nego što je obitelj to saznala. Majka 22-godišnjaka je objasnila da je danima proganjalo pitanje je li umro na licu mjesta ili ne, a svojeg je sina opisala kao "lijepog, kompleksnog i punog ljubavi". Joshov tata Simon Ashworth također je toplo govorio o svom djetetu i rekao da je njegova smrt ostavila veliku rupu.
Tresidder iz Springfield Roada u Leicesteru priznao je optužbu za uzrokovanje smrti nepažljivom vožnjom i nedostavljanjem uzorka. Također se izjasnio krivim za upravljanje vozilom dok je bio pod zabranom i bez osiguranja. Priznao je i posjedovanje kokaina, kao i namjeru opskrbe drogom.

Mladog Josha Ashwortha je, dok se vraćao kući iz noćnog izlaska u travnju prošle godine, udario BMW kojim je upravljao vozač bez dozvole, Cole Tresidder.
