Ben Stewart, skupljajući novac za dobrotvorne svrhe, postao je prvi čovjek koji se popeo na najvišu planinu Afrike hodajući unatrag. I s njega sišao unatrag, također.

Stewart (32) iz Northamptona popeo se i spustio niz Kilimanjaro u Tanzaniji kako bi prikupio novac za UK Heart Foundation, dobrotvornu organizaciju koja financira istraživanje kardiovaskularnih bolesti - javlja BBC.

Stewart se prethodno popeo na najviši vrh Britanije, također hodajući unatrag.

Stewartov djed preminuo je od srčanog udara 2010. u dobi od 65 godina, što mu je dalo dodatnu motivaciju za ovaj pothvat.

"Novac koji je Ben prikupio pomoći će financiranju istraživanja koja spašavaju živote, približavajući nas otkrićima koja bi mogla spasiti i poboljšati živote milijuna ljudi", rekao je John Foster, glasnogovornik zaklade.

Stewart je rekao da je to "najteža stvar koju je napravio u životu".

Dvoje ljudi, jedan iz Južne Afrike i jedan iz Nepala, hodali su unatrag 5895 metara do vrha ove afričke planine, ali nisu se tako i vratili istim putem. Stewart je imao tim koji ga je vodio i rekao je da se ne boji pada.

Pripremajući se za pothvat, koristio je posebnu spravu koja mu je pomogla u jačanju vrata kako bi mogao izdržati duga razdoblja gledanja preko ramena.

Ben Stewart, skupljajući novac za dobrotvorne svrhe, postao je prvi čovjek koji se popeo na najvišu planinu Afrike hodajući unatrag. I s njega sišao unatrag, također.

Stewart (32) iz Northamptona popeo se i spustio niz Kilimanjaro u Tanzaniji kako bi prikupio novac za UK Heart Foundation, dobrotvornu organizaciju koja financira istraživanje kardiovaskularnih bolesti - javlja BBC.

Stewart se prethodno popeo na najviši vrh Britanije, također hodajući unatrag.

Stewartov djed preminuo je od srčanog udara 2010. u dobi od 65 godina, što mu je dalo dodatnu motivaciju za ovaj pothvat.

Dvoje ljudi, jedan iz Južne Afrike i jedan iz Nepala, hodali su unatrag 5895 metara do vrha ove afričke planine, ali nisu se tako i vratili istim putem. Stewart je imao tim koji ga je vodio i rekao je da se ne boji pada.

Pripremajući se za pothvat, koristio je posebnu spravu koja mu je pomogla u jačanju vrata kako bi mogao izdržati duga razdoblja gledanja preko ramena.

Ben Stewart, skupljajući novac za dobrotvorne svrhe, postao je prvi čovjek koji se popeo na najvišu planinu Afrike hodajući unatrag. I s njega sišao unatrag, također.

Stewart (32) iz Northamptona popeo se i spustio niz Kilimanjaro u Tanzaniji kako bi prikupio novac za UK Heart Foundation, dobrotvornu organizaciju koja financira istraživanje kardiovaskularnih bolesti - javlja BBC.

Stewart se prethodno popeo na najviši vrh Britanije, također hodajući unatrag.

Stewartov djed preminuo je od srčanog udara 2010. u dobi od 65 godina, što mu je dalo dodatnu motivaciju za ovaj pothvat.
