Nobelovu nagradu za književnost za 2020. godinu dobila je američka pjesnikinja Louise Glück "za nepogrešiv poetski glas koji jednostavnom ljepotom individualno čini univerzalnim", objavio je švedski odbor za dodjelu ove prestižne nagrade. 

Zbog pandemije koronavirusa laureatkinja je najavila da neće osobno prisustvovati dodjeli koja se uobičajeno održava 10. prosinca.

Američka pjesnikinja Louise Glück rođena je 1943. u New Yorku, a živi u Cambridgeu u Massachusettsu. Osim što je pisala, profesorica je engleskog jezika na Sveučilištu Yale, u Connecticutu.

Debitirala je 1968. godine s "Prvorođenom", a ubrzo je proglašena jednom od najistaknutijih pjesnikinja u američkoj suvremenoj književnosti. Dobila je nekoliko prestižnih nagrada, među njima Pulitzerovu nagradu (1993.) i National Book Award (2014.).

Objavila je dvanaest pjesničkih zbirki i nekoliko tomova eseja o poeziji.

Louise Glück je šesnaesta žena koja je dobila ovu književnu nagradu od 1901. godine, od kada je dodijeljena prvi put.

Nobelovu nagradu za književnost za 2020. godinu dobila je američka pjesnikinja Louise Glück "za nepogrešiv poetski glas koji jednostavnom ljepotom individualno čini univerzalnim", objavio je švedski odbor za dodjelu ove prestižne nagrade. 

Zbog pandemije koronavirusa laureatkinja je najavila da neće osobno prisustvovati dodjeli koja se uobičajeno održava 10. prosinca.

Američka pjesnikinja Louise Glück rođena je 1943. u New Yorku, a živi u Cambridgeu u Massachusettsu. Osim što je pisala, profesorica je engleskog jezika na Sveučilištu Yale, u Connecticutu.

Debitirala je 1968. godine s "Prvorođenom", a ubrzo je proglašena jednom od najistaknutijih pjesnikinja u američkoj suvremenoj književnosti. Dobila je nekoliko prestižnih nagrada, među njima Pulitzerovu nagradu (1993.) i National Book Award (2014.).

Objavila je dvanaest pjesničkih zbirki i nekoliko tomova eseja o poeziji.

Louise Glück je šesnaesta žena koja je dobila ovu književnu nagradu od 1901. godine, od kada je dodijeljena prvi put.

Nobelovu nagradu za književnost za 2020. godinu dobila je američka pjesnikinja Louise Glück "za nepogrešiv poetski glas koji jednostavnom ljepotom individualno čini univerzalnim", objavio je švedski odbor za dodjelu ove prestižne nagrade. 

Zbog pandemije koronavirusa laureatkinja je najavila da neće osobno prisustvovati dodjeli koja se uobičajeno održava 10. prosinca.

Američka pjesnikinja Louise Glück rođena je 1943. u New Yorku, a živi u Cambridgeu u Massachusettsu. Osim što je pisala, profesorica je engleskog jezika na Sveučilištu Yale, u Connecticutu.

Debitirala je 1968. godine s "Prvorođenom", a ubrzo je proglašena jednom od najistaknutijih pjesnikinja u američkoj suvremenoj književnosti. Dobila je nekoliko prestižnih nagrada, među njima Pulitzerovu nagradu (1993.) i ...
