Znanstveno stručni simpozij na temu 'Promina – Slavlje spomena kao sjeme budućeg', koji je trebao biti održan 25. i 26. rujna 2020. godine spriječila je pandemija, ali njegov plod, Zbornik radova, tiskan povodom 330 godina župe Promina, nije ni pandemija mogla zaustaviti.
Rukovodeći se mišlju Svetog Jeronima, našeg Dalmatinca, Što nije zapisano, nije se ni dogodilo, kako je to kazao inicijator i ovog skupa i zbornika i simpozija, fra Ivan Maletić, gvardijan samostana Gospe Lurdske, Prominci su sabrali na jednom mjestu sve relevantno što je o njima napisano, na 573 stranice A 4 formata. Prominski autori – uglavnom profesori fakulteta i visokih škola, doktori znanosti, kojih je ovaj krševiti kraj dao podosta – obradili su to kroz pet poglavlja. Redom – Promina kroz povijest, Vjerski aspekti Promine, Kulturološki aspekti, Flora, fauna i prirodni okoliš, te Gospodarstvo Promine. A Dom Kulture u Oklaju bio je na predstavljanju Zbornika popunjen do posljednjeg mjesta. Tražila se i stolica više!

Uz fra Ivana Maletića, inicijativi su se pridružili i dr.sc. Zdravko Dizdar i dr. sc. Ankica Čilaš Šimpraga, koja nažalost, nije dočekala predstavljenje Zbornika, jer je u međuvremenu preminula, a potom i brojni drugi ugledni Prominjani - prof. dr. sc. Edi Maletić (koji je izabran za predsjednika znanstvenog odbora skupa), prof. dr. sc. Jasminka Karoglan Kontić i izv. prof. dr. sc. Ivica Ljubičić svi s Agronomskog fakulteta u Zagrebu, dr. sc. Marica Čilaš Mikulić, kroatistica s Filozofskog fakulteta u Zagrebu, prof. dr. sc. Boris Cota s Ekonomskog fakulteta u Zagrebu, dr. sc. Zoran Aralica s Ekonomskog instituta u Zagrebu te dr. sc. Višeslav Aralica, povjesničar koji je izabran i za glavnog urednika Zbornika.
I koji je brojne prisutne iznenadio podatkom, koji se također može naći u Zborniku, kako se brojno srednjovjekovno hrvatsko plemstvo iz Promine, nakon pada ovog kraja pod Turke, iselilo u Transilvaniju (!) istočni dio ugarskog kraljevstva, dijelove današnje Rumunjske i Mađarske, pod zaštitom i vodstvom, biskupa Jurja Utišinovića Martinuševića, držeći se – baš poput današnjih Prominjana - zajedno i čuvajući svijest o svom hrvatskom imenu i zajedničkom prominskom podrijetlu još čitavu generaciju, ili dvije.

Predstavljanje Zbornika – kojem je kao gost nazočio i Franko Vidović, saborski zastupnik - pozdravio je, u ime organizatora, i Tihomir Budanko, načelnik općine Promina, koja iduće godine slavi 140 godišnjicu otkako ju je 1883. godine uspostavio još car i kralj Franjo Josip. Općina i Promina svoju budućnost vidi u ruralnom turizmu, korištenju obnovljivih izvora energije i Nacionalnom parku Krka, koji pokriva čak 20 posto općine, i koji je prije neki dan otvorio i Eko kampus Puljani, s bogatom arheološkom zbirkom iz antičkog Burnuma. Koju su sudionici skupa mogli i obići, jer je za njih tamo organiziran i izlet.
Istovjetno predstavljanje Zbornika planirano je za četiri dana, 14. lipnja, i u Zagrebu, u dvorani Vijenac, Kaptol 29, s početkom u 19,30 sati.

Znanstveno stručni simpozij na temu 'Promina – Slavlje spomena kao sjeme budućeg', koji je trebao biti održan 25. i 26. rujna 2020. godine spriječila je pandemija, ali njegov plod, Zbornik radova, tiskan povodom 330 godina župe Promina, nije ni pandemija mogla zaustaviti.
Rukovodeći se mišlju Svetog Jeronima, našeg Dalmatinca, Što nije zapisano, nije se ni dogodilo, kako je to kazao inicijator i ovog skupa i zbornika i simpozija, fra Ivan Maletić, gvardijan samostana Gospe Lurdske, Prominci su sabrali na jednom mjestu sve relevantno što je o njima napisano, na 573 stranice A 4 formata. Prominski autori – uglavnom profesori fakulteta i visokih škola, doktori znanosti, kojih je ovaj krševiti kraj dao podosta – obradili su to kroz pet poglavlja. Redom – Promina kroz povijest, Vjerski aspekti Promine, Kulturološki aspekti, Flora, fauna i prirodni okoliš, te Gospodarstvo Promine. A Dom Kulture u Oklaju bio je na predstavljanju Zbornika popunjen do posljednjeg mjesta. Tražila se i stolica više!

Uz fra Ivana Maletića, inicijativi su se pridružili i dr.sc. Zdravko Dizdar i dr. sc. Ankica Čilaš Šimpraga, koja nažalost, nije dočekala predstavljenje Zbornika, jer je u međuvremenu preminula, a potom i brojni drugi ugledni Prominjani - prof. dr. sc. Edi Maletić (koji je izabran za predsjednika znanstvenog odbora skupa), prof. dr. sc. Jasminka Karoglan Kontić i izv. prof. dr. sc. Ivica Ljubičić svi s Agronomskog fakulteta u Zagrebu, dr. sc. Marica Čilaš Mikulić, kroatistica s Filozofskog fakulteta u Zagrebu, prof. dr. sc. Boris Cota s Ekonomskog fakulteta u Zagrebu, dr. sc. Zoran Aralica s Ekonomskog instituta u Zagrebu te dr. sc. Višeslav Aralica, povjesničar koji je izabran i za glavnog urednika Zbornika.
I koji je brojne prisutne iznenadio podatkom, koji se također može naći u Zborniku, kako se brojno srednjovjekovno hrvatsko plemstvo iz Promine, nakon pada ovog kraja pod Turke, iselilo u Transilvaniju (!) istočni dio ugarskog kraljevstva, dijelove današnje Rumunjske i Mađarske, pod zaštitom i vodstvom, biskupa Jurja Utišinovića Martinuševića, držeći se – baš poput današnjih Prominjana - zajedno i čuvajući svijest o svom hrvatskom imenu i zajedničkom prominskom podrijetlu još čitavu generaciju, ili dvije.

Predstavljanje Zbornika – kojem je kao gost nazočio i Franko Vidović, saborski zastupnik - pozdravio je, u ime organizatora, i Tihomir Budanko, načelnik općine Promina, koja iduće godine slavi 140 godišnjicu otkako ju je 1883. godine uspostavio još car i kralj Franjo Josip. Općina i Promina svoju budućnost vidi u ruralnom turizmu, korištenju obnovljivih izvora energije i Nacionalnom parku Krka, koji pokriva čak 20 posto općine, i koji je prije neki dan otvorio i Eko kampus Puljani, s bogatom arheološkom zbirkom iz antičkog Burnuma. Koju su sudionici skupa mogli i obići, jer je za njih tamo organiziran i izlet.
Istovjetno predstavljanje Zbornika planirano je za četiri dana, 14. lipnja, i u Zagrebu, u dvorani Vijenac, Kaptol 29, s početkom u 19,30 sati.
