Danas je Uskrs, najveći kršćanski blagdan, kojim se slavi središnji događaj kršćanstva - Kristovo uskrsnuće iz mrtvih. Spomen Kristova uskrsnuća slavi se svečanim misama, koje u većim gradovima predvode nadbiskupi i biskupi. 

Noć uoči uskrsne nedjelje slavilo se vazmeno bdijenje, a mnogi smatraju kako je to najbogatiji liturgijski obred u Crkvi.
Obilježavanju Uskrsa prethodili su dani Velikoga tjedna. Crkva se na Veliki četvrtak prisjećala Isusove posljednje večere, što je ujedno i spomendan ustanovljenja euharistije i svećeničkoga reda.

Veliki petak bio je spomendan Isusove muke i smrti. Taj dan se ne služe mise nego obilježava Muka Gospodnja. Velika subota bila je dan Kristova otpočinka u grobu i drugi dan vazmenoga trodnevlja, kada je Crkva započela vazmeno bdijenje.
Molitve, procesije, obredne vatre, blagdanski spravljena jela i kolači i njihov blagoslov u uskrsnoj košari, bojenje uskrsnih jaja, uskrsno čestitanje i darivanje te pjesme u slavu Uskrsa tek su dio pučkih uskrsnih običaja.
Za Uskrs se odlazi na jutarnju misu ili se na Veliku subotu odlazi na svečano vazmeno bdijenje. Na sam Uskrs tradicijski se blaguje šunka, često domaći kruh, te slastice.

Hrana se prije blagovanja odnosi u crkvu na uskrsnu misu gdje je svećenik blagoslivlja, a potom vjernici odlaze kućama na uskrsni objed i slavlje.

Tradicijska uskrsna jela su pinca, sirnica, razne uskrsne pogače ukrašene pisanicama, peciva, kuhana šunka i šunka pečena u kruhu s mladim lukom, hrenom i rotkvicama, kuhana kokoš s domaćim rezancima, kuglof, rožata.

Djeca se za Uskrs igraju tradicijskim igrama s pisanicama poput tuckanja pisanicama, gađanja pisanica kovanicama, traženja sakrivenih pisanica po kući ili u travi izvan kuće.

Postoji mnogo crkvenih pjesama koje opjevavaju Isusovu muku, raspeće i uskrsnuće. U hrvatskoj uskrsnoj tradiciji najpoznatije su "Kraljice neba", "Uskrsnu Isus doista", "Na nebu zora rudi" i dr. 

Poznato je oko stotinjak skladbi, koje se pjevaju kao uskrsne pjesme od Velike subote do Duhova.

Blagdan Uskrsa ne slavi se svake godine u isto vrijeme, već u prvu nedjelju nakon prvoga proljetnoga punog mjeseca (uštapa). Budući da prvi proljetni uštap može biti između 22. ožujka i 25. travnja, Uskrs se slavi unutar u tom vremenu.

Podrijetlo Uskrsa je u židovskom blagdanu Pashe pa su u katoličkoj liturgiji prisutni mnogi biblijski tekstovi koji podsjećaju na izlazak izabranoga naroda iz egipatskoga sužanjstva i prelazak preko Crvenoga mora.

Danas je Uskrs, najveći kršćanski blagdan, kojim se slavi središnji događaj kršćanstva - Kristovo uskrsnuće iz mrtvih. Spomen Kristova uskrsnuća slavi se svečanim misama, koje u većim gradovima predvode nadbiskupi i biskupi. 

Noć uoči uskrsne nedjelje slavilo se vazmeno bdijenje, a mnogi smatraju kako je to najbogatiji liturgijski obred u Crkvi.
Obilježavanju Uskrsa prethodili su dani Velikoga tjedna. Crkva se na Veliki četvrtak prisjećala Isusove posljednje večere, što je ujedno i spomendan ustanovljenja euharistije i svećeničkoga reda.

Veliki petak bio je spomendan Isusove muke i smrti. Taj dan se ne služe mise nego obilježava Muka Gospodnja. Velika subota bila je dan Kristova otpočinka u grobu i drugi dan vazmenoga trodnevlja, kada je Crkva započela vazmeno bdijenje.
Molitve, procesije, obredne vatre, blagdanski spravljena jela i kolači i njihov blagoslov u uskrsnoj košari, bojenje uskrsnih jaja, uskrsno čestitanje i darivanje te pjesme u slavu Uskrsa tek su dio pučkih uskrsnih običaja.
Za Uskrs se odlazi na jutarnju misu ili se na Veliku subotu odlazi na svečano vazmeno bdijenje. Na sam Uskrs tradicijski se blaguje šunka, često domaći kruh, te slastice.

Hrana se prije blagovanja odnosi u crkvu na uskrsnu misu gdje je svećenik blagoslivlja, a potom vjernici odlaze kućama na uskrsni objed i slavlje.

Tradicijska uskrsna jela su pinca, sirnica, razne uskrsne pogače ukrašene pisanicama, peciva, kuhana šunka i šunka pečena u kruhu s mladim lukom, hrenom i rotkvicama, kuhana kokoš s domaćim rezancima, kuglof, rožata.

Djeca se za Uskrs igraju tradicijskim igrama s pisanicama poput tuckanja pisanicama, gađanja pisanica kovanicama, traženja sakrivenih pisanica po kući ili u travi izvan kuće.

Postoji mnogo crkvenih pjesama koje opjevavaju Isusovu muku, raspeće i uskrsnuće. U hrvatskoj uskrsnoj tradiciji najpoznatije su "Kraljice neba", "Uskrsnu Isus doista", "Na nebu zora rudi" i dr. 

Poznato je oko stotinjak skladbi, koje se pjevaju kao uskrsne pjesme od Velike subote do Duhova.

Blagdan Uskrsa ne slavi se svake godine u isto vrijeme, već u prvu nedjelju nakon prvoga proljetnoga punog mjeseca (uštapa). Budući da prvi proljetni uštap može biti između 22. ožujka i 25. travnja, Uskrs se slavi unutar u tom vremenu.

Podrijetlo Uskrsa je u židovskom blagdanu Pashe pa su u katoličkoj liturgiji prisutni mnogi biblijski tekstovi koji podsjećaju na izlazak izabranoga naroda iz egipatskoga sužanjstva i prelazak preko Crvenoga mora.

Danas se slavi Kristovo uskrsnuće iz mrtvih. Znate li značenje i tradiciju najvećeg kršćanskog blagdana?

Danas je Uskrs, najveći kršćanski blagdan, kojim se slavi središnji događaj kršćanstva - Kristovo uskrsnuće iz mrtvih. Spomen Kristova uskrsnuća slavi se svečanim misama, koje u većim gradovima predvode nadbiskupi i biskupi. 

Noć uoči uskrsne nedjelje slavilo se vazmeno bdijenje, a mnogi smatraju kako je to najbogatiji liturgijski obred u Crkvi.
Obilježavanju Uskrsa prethodili su dani Velikoga tjedna. Crkva se na Veliki četvrtak prisjećala Isusove posljednje večere, što je ujedno i spomendan ustanovljenja euharistije i svećeničkoga reda.

Veliki petak bio je spomendan Isusove muke i smrti. Taj dan se ne služe mise nego obilježava Muka Gospodnja. Velika subota bila je dan Kristova otpočinka u grobu i drugi dan vazmenoga trodnevlja, kada je Crkva započela vazmeno bdijenje.
Molitve, procesije, obredne vatre, blagdanski spravljena jela i kolači i njihov blagoslov u uskrsnoj košari, bojenje uskrsnih jaja, uskrsno čestitanje i darivanje te pjesme u slavu Uskrsa tek su dio pučkih uskrsnih običaja.
Za Uskrs se odlazi na jutarnju misu ili se na Veliku subotu odlazi na svečano vazmeno bdijenje. Na sam Uskrs tradicijski se blaguje šunka, često domaći kruh, te slastice.

Hrana se prije blagovanja odnosi u crkvu na uskrsnu misu gdje je svećenik blagoslivlja, a potom vjernici odlaze kućama na uskrsni objed i slavlje.

Tradicijska uskrsna jela su pinca, sirnica, razne uskrsne pogače ukrašene pisanicama, peciva, kuhana šunka i šunka pečena u kruhu s mladim lukom, hrenom i rotkvicama, kuhana kokoš s domaćim rezancima, kuglof, rožata.

Djeca se za Uskrs igraju tradicijskim igrama s pisanicama poput tuckanja pisanicama, gađanja pisanica kovanicama, traženja sakrivenih pisanica po kući ili u travi izvan kuće.

Postoji mnogo crkvenih pjesama koje opjevavaju Isusovu muku, raspeće i uskrsnuće. U hrvatskoj uskrsnoj tradiciji najpoznatije su "Kraljice neba", "Uskrsnu Isus doista", "Na nebu zora rudi" i dr. 

Poznato je oko stotinjak skladbi, koje se pjevaju kao uskrsne pjesme od Velike subote do Duhova.

Blagdan Uskrsa ne slavi se svake godine u isto vrijeme, već u prvu nedjelju nakon prvoga proljetnoga punog mjeseca (uštapa). Budući da prvi proljetni uštap može biti između 22. ožujka i 25. travnja, Uskrs se slavi unutar u tom vremenu.

Podrijetlo Uskrsa je u židovskom blagdanu Pashe pa su u katoličkoj liturgiji prisutni mnogi biblijski tekstovi koji podsjećaju na izlazak izabranoga naroda iz egipatskoga sužanjstva i prelazak preko Crvenoga mora.
