Ubuduće će posjetitelji Tvrđave sv. Mihovila brže i lakše dijeliti iskustvo svojeg posjeta na društvenim mrežama, pisati recenzije i komentare ili se javljati rodbini na drugim kontinentima zahvaljujući opremi koja posjetiteljima omogućuje besplatan i brz pristup Internetu.

Oprema je postavljena zahvaljujući sredstvima osiguranim iz inicijative Europske komisije WiFi4EU, kojom se visokokvalitetan besplatan pristup internetu za građane i posjetitelje preko pristupnih točaka za Wi-Fi osigurava na javnim prostorima kao što su parkovi, trgovi, uprave, knjižnice i slično u cijeloj Europskoj uniji.

„Prijavom na javni poziv inicijative WiFi4EU, Grad Šibenik je u prvom krugu osvojio vaučer u iznosu 15 tisuća eura, iznos kojim se financirala nabava i postavljanje opreme. Za taj je posao odabrana Integra grupa d.o.o. koja je na tvrđavu implementirala opremu svjetski poznatog proizvođača mrežne opreme Aruba Networks- kazao je zamjenik šibenskog gradonačelnika Danijel Mileta.

Implementirano mrežno rješenje omogućava istodobno korištenje mreže za do 500 korisnika, a moguće je i proširenje kapaciteta prema potrebi. Mrežno rješenje se sastoji od Aruba Networks pristupnih točaka (Access Point), njih ukupno 12 te preklopnika (switch), čija ukupna kumulativna brzina iznosi najmanje 30 Mbit/s. Kompletno upravljanje se obavlja preko jedne centralne konzole, odnosno pomoću Aruba Central software-a koji je baziran „u oblaku“, a njegove pogodnosti su što, uz centralizirano upravljanje, pruža mogućnost analitike temeljenu na učenju putem umjetne inteligencije, kao i sigurnost za sve uređaje spojene putem IoT (Internet of Things). Upravo je ovo posljednje, odnosno sigurnost uređaja i posjetitelja tvrđave, neopisivo važna u današnjim uvjetima.

Proizvođač Aruba Networks već se 14 godina nalazi na vodećoj poziciji u sferi mrežnih rješenja, a sa sobom donosi bogato iskustvo implementacije kod stotina globalnih klijenata, široki portfolio rješenja i tehnologija te odličnu podršku. U ovom konkretnom slučaju garancija je doživotna, što znači da će od trenutka prestanka prodaje implementiranog rješenja zamjenski dijelovi biti dostupni još najmanje pet godina.

Kako je u prošlosti dolazilo do smanjenja brzine pristupa Internetu putem korisničkih mobilnih uređaja, što u vrijeme dnevnih posjeta, što za vrijeme večernjih događanja koja privlače brojnu publiku, upravo je Tvrđava sv. Mihovila odabrana kao lokacija na kojoj je postavljena nova infrastruktura.

Plaćanje je Europska komisija obavila preko Izvršne agencije za inovacije i mreže (INEA), a ostatak vrijednosti pokriven je sredstvima iz gradskog proračuna Grada Šibenika. Ukupna vrijednost projekta iznosila je oko 160 tisuća kuna.

Važno je spomenuti i činjenicu da je Grad Šibenik prvi u Hrvatskoj postavio besplatnu javnu infrastrukturu za bežičnu LoRaWAN mrežu koja pruža niz mogućnosti za prijenos jednostavnih informacija između samih elektroničkih uređaja i čije pokrivanje seže od Vodica do Primoštena.

Ubuduće će posjetitelji Tvrđave sv. Mihovila brže i lakše dijeliti iskustvo svojeg posjeta na društvenim mrežama, pisati recenzije i komentare ili se javljati rodbini na drugim kontinentima zahvaljujući opremi koja posjetiteljima omogućuje besplatan i brz pristup Internetu.

Oprema je postavljena zahvaljujući sredstvima osiguranim iz inicijative Europske komisije WiFi4EU, kojom se visokokvalitetan besplatan pristup internetu za građane i posjetitelje preko pristupnih točaka za Wi-Fi osigurava na javnim prostorima kao što su parkovi, trgovi, uprave, knjižnice i slično u cijeloj Europskoj uniji.

„Prijavom na javni poziv inicijative WiFi4EU, Grad Šibenik je u prvom krugu osvojio vaučer u iznosu 15 tisuća eura, iznos kojim se financirala nabava i postavljanje opreme. Za taj je posao odabrana Integra grupa d.o.o. koja je na tvrđavu implementirala opremu svjetski poznatog proizvođača mrežne opreme Aruba Networks- kazao je zamjenik šibenskog gradonačelnika Danijel Mileta.

Implementirano mrežno rješenje omogućava istodobno korištenje mreže za do 500 korisnika, a moguće je i proširenje kapaciteta prema potrebi. Mrežno rješenje se sastoji od Aruba Networks pristupnih točaka (Access Point), njih ukupno 12 te preklopnika (switch), čija ukupna kumulativna brzina iznosi najmanje 30 Mbit/s. Kompletno upravljanje se obavlja preko jedne centralne konzole, odnosno pomoću Aruba Central software-a koji je baziran „u oblaku“, a njegove pogodnosti su što, uz centralizirano upravljanje, pruža mogućnost analitike temeljenu na učenju putem umjetne inteligencije, kao i sigurnost za sve uređaje spojene putem IoT (Internet of Things). Upravo je ovo posljednje, odnosno sigurnost uređaja i posjetitelja tvrđave, neopisivo važna u današnjim uvjetima.

Proizvođač Aruba Networks već se 14 godina nalazi na vodećoj poziciji u sferi mrežnih rješenja, a sa sobom donosi bogato iskustvo implementacije kod stotina globalnih klijenata, široki portfolio rješenja i tehnologija te odličnu podršku. U ovom konkretnom slučaju garancija je doživotna, što znači da će od trenutka prestanka prodaje implementiranog rješenja zamjenski dijelovi biti dostupni još najmanje pet godina.

Kako je u prošlosti dolazilo do smanjenja brzine pristupa Internetu putem korisničkih mobilnih uređaja, što u vrijeme dnevnih posjeta, što za vrijeme večernjih događanja koja privlače brojnu publiku, upravo je Tvrđava sv. Mihovila odabrana kao lokacija na kojoj je postavljena nova infrastruktura.

Plaćanje je Europska komisija obavila preko Izvršne agencije za inovacije i mreže (INEA), a ostatak vrijednosti pokriven je sredstvima iz gradskog proračuna Grada Šibenika. Ukupna vrijednost projekta iznosila je oko 160 tisuća kuna.

Važno je spomenuti i činjenicu da je Grad Šibenik prvi u Hrvatskoj postavio besplatnu javnu infrastrukturu za bežičnu LoRaWAN mrežu koja pruža niz mogućnosti za prijenos jednostavnih informacija između samih elektroničkih uređaja i čije pokrivanje seže od Vodica do Primoštena.

Na Tvrđavi sv. Mihovila omogućen besplatan i brz pristup Internetu

Ubuduće će posjetitelji Tvrđave sv. Mihovila brže i lakše dijeliti iskustvo svojeg posjeta na društvenim mrežama, pisati recenzije i komentare ili se javljati rodbini na drugim kontinentima zahvaljujući opremi koja posjetiteljima omogućuje besplatan i brz pristup Internetu.

Oprema je postavljena zahvaljujući sredstvima osiguranim iz inicijative Europske komisije WiFi4EU, kojom se visokokvalitetan besplatan pristup internetu za građane i posjetitelje preko pristupnih točaka za Wi-Fi osigurava na javnim prostorima kao što su parkovi, trgovi, uprave, knjižnice i slično u cijeloj Europskoj uniji.

„Prijavom na javni poziv inicijative WiFi4EU, Grad Šibenik je u prvom krugu osvojio vaučer u iznosu 15 tisuća eura, iznos kojim se financirala nabava i postavljanje opreme. Za taj je posao odabrana Integra grupa d.o.o. koja je na tvrđavu implementirala opremu svjetski poznatog proizvođača mrežne opreme Aruba Networks- kazao je zamjenik šibenskog gradonačelnika Danijel Mileta.

Implementirano mrežno rješenje omogućava istodobno korištenje mreže za do 500 korisnika, a moguće je i proširenje kapaciteta prema potrebi. Mrežno rješenje se sastoji od Aruba Networks pristupnih točaka (Access Point), njih ukupno 12 te preklopnika (switch), čija ukupna kumulativna brzina iznosi najmanje 30 Mbit/s. Kompletno upravljanje se obavlja preko jedne centralne konzole, odnosno pomoću Aruba Central software-a koji je baziran „u oblaku“, a njegove pogodnosti su što, uz centralizirano upravljanje, pruža mogućnost analitike temeljenu na učenju putem umjetne inteligencije, kao i sigurnost za sve uređaje spojene putem IoT (Internet of Things). Upravo je ovo posljednje, odnosno sigurnost uređaja i posjetitelja tvrđave, neopisivo važna u današnjim uvjetima.

Proizvođač Aruba Networks već se 14 godina nalazi na vodećoj poziciji u sferi mrežnih rješenja, a sa sobom donosi bogato iskustvo implementacije kod stotina globalnih klijenata, široki portfolio rješenja i tehnologija te odličnu podršku. U ovom konkretnom slučaju garancija je doživotna, što znači da će od trenutka prestanka prodaje implementiranog rješenja zamjenski dijelovi biti dostupni još najmanje pet godina.

Kako je u prošlosti dolazilo do smanjenja brzine pristupa Internetu putem korisničkih mobilnih uređaja, što u vrijeme dnevnih posjeta, što za vrijeme večernjih događanja koja privlače brojnu publiku, upravo je Tvrđava sv. Mihovila odabrana kao lokacija na kojoj je postavljena nova infrastruktura.

Plaćanje je Europska komisija obavila preko Izvršne agencije za inovacije i mreže (INEA), a ostatak vrijednosti pokriven je sredstvima iz gradskog proračuna Grada Šibenika. Ukupna vrijednost projekta iznosila je oko 160 tisuća kuna.

Važno je spomenuti i činjenicu da je Grad Šibenik prvi u Hrvatskoj postavio besplatnu javnu infrastrukturu za bežičnu LoRaWAN mrežu koja pruža niz mogućnosti za prijenos jednostavnih informacija između samih elektroničkih uređaja i čije pokrivanje seže od Vodica do Primoštena.
