Nakon dugo vremena u šibensku luku uplovio je jedan veliki brod, "Asi Fortune" koji plovi pod panamskom zastavom, nosivosti 58 tisuća tona, koji je za lokalnu tvrtku "Impol" dovezao 18 tisuća tona aluminijskih ingota.

Kako nam je rekao Milko Kronja, inspektor u Međunarodnoj organizaciji transportnih radnika, to je najveći brod na šibenskom vezu nakon "Vladimira Vlasajeva", nosivosti 32.264 tona, koji je u dva navrata, 1995. i 1996. godine, doplovio s opremom za snage Ujedinjenih naroda u BiH.

Najveći putnički brodovi koji su posjetili Krešimirov grad bili kruzeri-blizanci "Viking Sea", "Viking Sun", "Viking Sky", "Viking Orion", "Viking Jupiter" i "Viking Venus", i to u razdoblju od 2017. do 2019. godine. Što se tiče "Luke Šibenik" kao tvrtke, tu je stanje daleko od nekadašnjega kada se prekrcavalo i više od milijun tona tereta godišnje, a u poduzeću je bilo zaposleno 900 radnika, po čemu je jedno vrijeme Šibenik bio drugi hrvatski "porat" nakon Rijeke.

Danas je, kako kaže i Marijan Bilić, direktor "Luke", uposleno tek četrdesetak dokera. Šibenik se specijalizirao za sipke terete, ponajprije fosfat i druge minerale iz sjeverne Afrike, za što je izgrađen i moderan terminal velikog kapaciteta.
Ostale sirovine idu u kutinsku "Petrokemiju" kao materijali za proizvodnju umjetnih gnojiva, pa je ta tvrtka i većinski vlasnik "Luke Šibenik".

- Problem je u tome što je tvrtka već dugo godina u velikoj krizi upravo zato što se umjetna gnojiva sve više izbacuju iz procesa obrade tla i pristupa ekološkom gospodarenju u poljoprivredi. Znajući to, "Petrokemija" se nastoji preorijentirati na druge poslove - navodi naš sugovornik.

Upitan za to, direktor Bilić potvrđuje kako se već duže najavljuje da će se preko šibenskih dokova uvoziti nove vrste tereta, ali za sada od toga još nema ništa konkretnog. Zato trenutno i uvoz aluminija igra sve veću ulogu.

I tako, dok traju problemi s "Petrokemijom", vezovi su sve više bez brodova. Gotovo je zaboravljeno ono razdoblje kad ih je po desetak čekalo na vezovima i sidrištima izvan Kanala sv. Ante na iskrcaj i činilo "Luku" jednim od prvijenaca našeg pomorskog gospodarstva.

Nakon dugo vremena u šibensku luku uplovio je jedan veliki brod, "Asi Fortune" koji plovi pod panamskom zastavom, nosivosti 58 tisuća tona, koji je za lokalnu tvrtku "Impol" dovezao 18 tisuća tona aluminijskih ingota.

Kako nam je rekao Milko Kronja, inspektor u Međunarodnoj organizaciji transportnih radnika, to je najveći brod na šibenskom vezu nakon "Vladimira Vlasajeva", nosivosti 32.264 tona, koji je u dva navrata, 1995. i 1996. godine, doplovio s opremom za snage Ujedinjenih naroda u BiH.

Najveći putnički brodovi koji su posjetili Krešimirov grad bili kruzeri-blizanci "Viking Sea", "Viking Sun", "Viking Sky", "Viking Orion", "Viking Jupiter" i "Viking Venus", i to u razdoblju od 2017. do 2019. godine. Što se tiče "Luke Šibenik" kao tvrtke, tu je stanje daleko od nekadašnjega kada se prekrcavalo i više od milijun tona tereta godišnje, a u poduzeću je bilo zaposleno 900 radnika, po čemu je jedno vrijeme Šibenik bio drugi hrvatski "porat" nakon Rijeke.

Danas je, kako kaže i Marijan Bilić, direktor "Luke", uposleno tek četrdesetak dokera. Šibenik se specijalizirao za sipke terete, ponajprije fosfat i druge minerale iz sjeverne Afrike, za što je izgrađen i moderan terminal velikog kapaciteta.
Ostale sirovine idu u kutinsku "Petrokemiju" kao materijali za proizvodnju umjetnih gnojiva, pa je ta tvrtka i većinski vlasnik "Luke Šibenik".

- Problem je u tome što je tvrtka već dugo godina u velikoj krizi upravo zato što se umjetna gnojiva sve više izbacuju iz procesa obrade tla i pristupa ekološkom gospodarenju u poljoprivredi. Znajući to, "Petrokemija" se nastoji preorijentirati na druge poslove - navodi naš sugovornik.

Upitan za to, direktor Bilić potvrđuje kako se već duže najavljuje da će se preko šibenskih dokova uvoziti nove vrste tereta, ali za sada od toga još nema ništa konkretnog. Zato trenutno i uvoz aluminija igra sve veću ulogu.

I tako, dok traju problemi s "Petrokemijom", vezovi su sve više bez brodova. Gotovo je zaboravljeno ono razdoblje kad ih je po desetak čekalo na vezovima i sidrištima izvan Kanala sv. Ante na iskrcaj i činilo "Luku" jednim od prvijenaca našeg pomorskog gospodarstva.

Gotovo su zaboravljeni dani kada je Šibenik bio drugi hrvatski porat iza Rijeke; Po desetak brodova je čekalo na iskrcaj, a u luci je radilo 900 ljudi

Nakon dugo vremena u šibensku luku uplovio je jedan veliki brod, "Asi Fortune" koji plovi pod panamskom zastavom, nosivosti 58 tisuća tona, koji je za lokalnu tvrtku "Impol" dovezao 18 tisuća tona aluminijskih ingota.

Kako nam je rekao Milko Kronja, inspektor u Međunarodnoj organizaciji transportnih radnika, to je najveći brod na šibenskom vezu nakon "Vladimira Vlasajeva", nosivosti 32.264 tona, koji je u dva navrata, 1995. i 1996. godine, doplovio s opremom za snage Ujedinjenih naroda u BiH.

Najveći putnički brodovi koji su posjetili Krešimirov grad bili kruzeri-blizanci "Viking Sea", "Viking Sun", "Viking Sky", "Viking Orion", "Viking Jupiter" i "Viking Venus", i to u razdoblju od 2017. do 2019. godine. Što se tiče "Luke Šibenik" kao tvrtke, tu je stanje daleko od nekadašnjega kada se prekrcavalo i više od milijun tona tereta godišnje, a u poduzeću je bilo zaposleno 900 radnika, po čemu je jedno vrijeme Šibenik bio drugi hrvatski "porat" nakon Rijeke.

Danas je, kako kaže i Marijan Bilić, direktor "Luke", uposleno tek četrdesetak dokera. Šibenik se specijalizirao za sipke terete, ponajprije fosfat i druge minerale iz sjeverne Afrike, za što je izgrađen i moderan terminal velikog kapaciteta.
Ostale sirovine idu u kutinsku "Petrokemiju" kao materijali za proizvodnju umjetnih gnojiva, pa je ta tvrtka i većinski vlasnik "Luke Šibenik".

- Problem je u tome što je tvrtka već dugo godina u velikoj krizi upravo zato što se umjetna gnojiva sve više izbacuju iz procesa obrade tla i pristupa ekološkom gospodarenju u poljoprivredi. Znajući to, "Petrokemija" se nastoji preorijentirati na druge poslove - navodi naš sugovornik.

Upitan za to, direktor Bilić potvrđuje kako se već duže najavljuje da će se preko šibenskih dokova uvoziti nove vrste tereta, ali za sada od toga još nema ništa konkretnog. Zato trenutno i uvoz aluminija igra sve veću ulogu.

I tako, dok traju problemi s "Petrokemijom", vezovi su sve više bez brodova. Gotovo je zaboravljeno ono razdoblje kad ih je po desetak čekalo na vezovima i sidrištima izvan Kanala sv. Ante na iskrcaj i činilo "Luku" jednim od prvijenaca našeg pomorskog gospodarstva.
