Potresi su neizbježni i oni će se sigurno dogoditi, samo se ne zna kada i koliko će biti snažni i razorni. Zbog toga se treba naučiti živjeti s potresima i prevenirati moguće neželjene posljedice.

Ovo je poruka s okruglog stola održanog u multimedijalnoj dvorani Palacine u Sinju na temu "Siguran (su)život s potresima - na primjeru grada Sinja", a koji su organizirali znanstvenici i stručnjaci Geofizičkog odsjeka Prirodnoslovno-matematičkog fakuteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu.

Okrugli stol

Na ovom okruglom stolu predstavnicima gradova Sinja i Trilja, Splitsko-dalmatinske županije, civilne zaštite, policije, vatrogasaca i drugima predstavljeni su do sada poznati rezultati geofizičko-seizmoloških istraživanja potresom ugroženih područja u RH koja provodi Geofizički odsjek zagrebačkog PMF-a u suradnji i sufinanciranju sa znanstvenim institucijama iz Norveške.

Potres kod Metkovića

Sudionicima okruglog stola govorili su voditeljica projekta prof. dr. sc. Snježana Markušić i njezini suradnici Iva Lončar, Mario Gazdek, Bruno Mravlja i Davor Stanko.

- Područje južne i srednje Dalmacije nalazi se na seizmički najaktivnijem području Hrvatske, gdje se jadranska mikroploča podvlači pod Dinaride, a kao posljedica toga ovdje se nakuplja najveća količina tektonske napetosti.

Tu su se događali najčešći i najjači potresi u Hrvatskoj, kao što su potresi u Dubrovniku, Turjacima, Makarskoj ili posljednji s epicentrom u Stonu - rekla je prof. Markušić.

Ona je naglasila kako je ovim znanstvenim istraživanjem cilj osvijestiti ljude da je moguć suživot s potresima, ali tako da ulažemo u znanje o strukturi tla na kojemu živimo i načinu na kojemu ćemo na takvim tlima graditi.

Potresi će se, znamo, istaknula je, sigurno događati, posebno na seizmički aktivnim područjima, ne možemo ih nikako izbjeći, ali se moramo naučiti kako ćemo s potresima živjeti i kako ćemo se od njih braniti.

- Mi smo kroz naše istraživanje obavili cijeli niz mjerenja posebno osjetljivim uređajima, a proveli smo i istraživanja strukture tla. Na osnovi toga smo, primjerice, za uže područje grada Sinja, napravili karte seizmičnosti tla. Njihova primjena u praksi najviše bi se trebala očitovati kroz prostorno planiranje uz pomoć projektantima u odabiru gdje, što i kako graditi.

Shvatiti na vrijeme

Specifičnost Sinja, koju smo iščitali iz dobivenih mjerenja, jest nagli prijelaz s čvrste stijene na mekša tla. Cilj nam je da gradovi i građani shvate koliko je bitno znati takve podatke radi ulaganja u gradnju objekata koji će biti sigurni u potresima.

Ljudi se čudom čude kada se potres dogodi i to na području gdje se potres može očekivati. Još nitko u Hrvatskoj, ni jedan grad ili općina, nije napravio istraživanja za svoje područje.

Da mi ne provodimo ovakva znanstvena istraživanja, nikakvih podataka za mikrolokacije zapravo ne bismo imali - kazala je prof. Markušić.

Potres kod Metkovića

Potresi su neizbježni i oni će se sigurno dogoditi, samo se ne zna kada i koliko će biti snažni i razorni. Zbog toga se treba naučiti živjeti s potresima i prevenirati moguće neželjene posljedice.

Ovo je poruka s okruglog stola održanog u multimedijalnoj dvorani Palacine u Sinju na temu "Siguran (su)život s potresima - na primjeru grada Sinja", a koji su organizirali znanstvenici i stručnjaci Geofizičkog odsjeka Prirodnoslovno-matematičkog fakuteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu.

Okrugli stol

Na ovom okruglom stolu predstavnicima gradova Sinja i Trilja, Splitsko-dalmatinske županije, civilne zaštite, policije, vatrogasaca i drugima predstavljeni su do sada poznati rezultati geofizičko-seizmoloških istraživanja potresom ugroženih područja u RH koja provodi Geofizički odsjek zagrebačkog PMF-a u suradnji i sufinanciranju sa znanstvenim institucijama iz Norveške.

Sudionicima okruglog stola govorili su voditeljica projekta prof. dr. sc. Snježana Markušić i njezini suradnici Iva Lončar, Mario Gazdek, Bruno Mravlja i Davor Stanko.

- Područje južne i srednje Dalmacije nalazi se na seizmički najaktivnijem području Hrvatske, gdje se jadranska mikroploča podvlači pod Dinaride, a kao posljedica toga ovdje se nakuplja najveća količina tektonske napetosti.

Tu su se događali najčešći i najjači potresi u Hrvatskoj, kao što su potresi u Dubrovniku, Turjacima, Makarskoj ili posljednji s epicentrom u Stonu - rekla je prof. Markušić.

Ona je naglasila kako je ovim znanstvenim istraživanjem cilj osvijestiti ljude da je moguć suživot s potresima, ali tako da ulažemo u znanje o strukturi tla na kojemu živimo i načinu na kojemu ćemo na takvim tlima graditi.

Potresi će se, znamo, istaknula je, sigurno događati, posebno na seizmički aktivnim područjima, ne možemo ih nikako izbjeći, ali se moramo naučiti kako ćemo s potresima živjeti i kako ćemo se od njih braniti.

- Mi smo kroz naše istraživanje obavili cijeli niz mjerenja posebno osjetljivim uređajima, a proveli smo i istraživanja strukture tla. Na osnovi toga smo, primjerice, za uže područje grada Sinja, napravili karte seizmičnosti tla. Njihova primjena u praksi najviše bi se trebala očitovati kroz prostorno planiranje uz pomoć projektantima u odabiru gdje, što i kako graditi.

Shvatiti na vrijeme

Specifičnost Sinja, koju smo iščitali iz dobivenih mjerenja, jest nagli prijelaz s čvrste stijene na mekša tla. Cilj nam je da gradovi i građani shvate koliko je bitno znati takve podatke radi ulaganja u gradnju objekata koji će biti sigurni u potresima.

Ljudi se čudom čude kada se potres dogodi i to na području gdje se potres može očekivati. Još nitko u Hrvatskoj, ni jedan grad ili općina, nije napravio istraživanja za svoje područje.

Da mi ne provodimo ovakva znanstvena istraživanja, nikakvih podataka za mikrolokacije zapravo ne bismo imali - kazala je prof. Markušić.
