Zagrebački nadbiskup Dražen Kutleša predvodeći u ponedjeljak svečano misno slavlje upozorio je na iščezavanje biti slavljenja Božića te pozvao na odricanje od sebičnosti.
Sve više se opaža da bit slavljenja Božića sve više iščezava iz ljudskoga srca, dan rođenja Isusa Krista pretvara se u površno slavlje u kojem zaboravljamo što doista slavimo, kazao je Kutleša predvodeći misu u Bogoslužnom prostoru blaženog Alojzija Stepinca.
Osvrnuvši se na stanje ljudskog duha spomenuo je nova poganstva koja se možda i neprimjetno uvlače u naše domove. O čemu se zapravo radi, nedostatku prirodne sposobnosti ljudskog duha da poštuje nešto više od sebe, umjesto toga na djelu je religija čovjeka kao novog boga, rekao je.
Novo poganstvo, naveo je Kutleša, ne poznaje božansku objavu kao mjerilo vrijednosti, jedino što iz Svetog pisma ponavlja je „ne sudi”, novo poganstvo ubija osjećaj stida i potrebu kajanja, ne treba mu spasitelj, novom poganinu nedostaje strahopoštovanja pred Bogom.
„Ne prepoznajemo radosnu vijest spasenja, već smo Boga pretvorili u dobrodušnog djedicu koji nam ljubav iskazuje tako što ispunjava sve naše sebične želje. Novo poganstvo je zapravo veliki trijumf želja”, istaknuo je.
Poručio je da Božić ne slavimo samo zato da bismo se iznutra osjećali sretni i zadovoljni ili samo zato što nam pomaže suočiti se sa životnim problemima ili zato što su nam dragi božićni običaji, već da slaviti Božić znači vjerovati Radosnoj vijesti jer je istinita.
„Bog nas, dragi vjernici, ne poziva na slavan, blještav i stalno uzbudljiv život. Poziva nas da vjerujemo Spasitelju, a zatim nas šalje natrag u našu životnu realnost kako bismo naučili radovati se njegovu spasenju iz dana u dan i to spasenje nositi drugima: razvezivati spone jarmene, dijeliti kruh s gladnima, krov s beskućnicima, zauzimati se za obespravljene i slabe. Nježnost i bespomoćnost Djeteta u jaslama trajni je poziv na odricanje od svih oblika nasilja i grubosti, naprasitosti i bahatosti, jednom riječju: sebičnosti koja ne prepoznaje da su nam za ispunjen i sretan život potrebni drugi kao što smo i mi potrebni drugima", zaključio je zagrebački nadbiskup Kutleša na misnom slavlju koje je predvodio u zajedništvu sa kardinalom Josipom Bozanićem.
Na svečanom euharistijskom slavlju bili su i predsjednik Hrvatskog sabora Gordan Jandroković i predsjednik Vlade Andrej Plenković te ministri u Vladi.

Zagrebački nadbiskup Dražen Kutleša predvodeći u ponedjeljak svečano misno slavlje upozorio je na iščezavanje biti slavljenja Božića te pozvao na odricanje od sebičnosti.
Sve više se opaža da bit slavljenja Božića sve više iščezava iz ljudskoga srca, dan rođenja Isusa Krista pretvara se u površno slavlje u kojem zaboravljamo što doista slavimo, kazao je Kutleša predvodeći misu u Bogoslužnom prostoru blaženog Alojzija Stepinca.
Osvrnuvši se na stanje ljudskog duha spomenuo je nova poganstva koja se možda i neprimjetno uvlače u naše domove. O čemu se zapravo radi, nedostatku prirodne sposobnosti ljudskog duha da poštuje nešto više od sebe, umjesto toga na djelu je religija čovjeka kao novog boga, rekao je.
Novo poganstvo, naveo je Kutleša, ne poznaje božansku objavu kao mjerilo vrijednosti, jedino što iz Svetog pisma ponavlja je „ne sudi”, novo poganstvo ubija osjećaj stida i potrebu kajanja, ne treba mu spasitelj, novom poganinu nedostaje strahopoštovanja pred Bogom.
„Ne prepoznajemo radosnu vijest spasenja, već smo Boga pretvorili u dobrodušnog djedicu koji nam ljubav iskazuje tako što ispunjava sve naše sebične želje. Novo poganstvo je zapravo veliki trijumf želja”, istaknuo je.
Poručio je da Božić ne slavimo samo zato da bismo se iznutra osjećali sretni i zadovoljni ili samo zato što nam pomaže suočiti se sa životnim problemima ili zato što su nam dragi božićni običaji, već da slaviti Božić znači vjerovati Radosnoj vijesti jer je istinita.
„Bog nas, dragi vjernici, ne poziva na slavan, blještav i stalno uzbudljiv život. Poziva nas da vjerujemo Spasitelju, a zatim nas šalje natrag u našu životnu realnost kako bismo naučili radovati se njegovu spasenju iz dana u dan i to spasenje nositi drugima: razvezivati spone jarmene, dijeliti kruh s gladnima, krov s beskućnicima, zauzimati se za obespravljene i slabe. Nježnost i bespomoćnost Djeteta u jaslama trajni je poziv na odricanje od svih oblika nasilja i grubosti, naprasitosti i bahatosti, jednom riječju: sebičnosti koja ne prepoznaje da su nam za ispunjen i sretan život potrebni drugi kao što smo i mi potrebni drugima", zaključio je zagrebački nadbiskup Kutleša na misnom slavlju koje je predvodio u zajedništvu sa kardinalom Josipom Bozanićem.
Na svečanom euharistijskom slavlju bili su i predsjednik Hrvatskog sabora Gordan Jandroković i predsjednik Vlade Andrej Plenković te ministri u Vladi.

Nadbiskup Dražen Kutleša: Dan rođenja Isusa Krista pretvara se u površno slavlje

Zagrebački nadbiskup Dražen Kutleša predvodeći u ponedjeljak svečano misno slavlje upozorio je na iščezavanje biti slavljenja Božića te pozvao na odricanje od sebičnosti.
Sve više se opaža da bit slavljenja Božića sve više iščezava iz ljudskoga srca, dan rođenja Isusa Krista pretvara se u površno slavlje u kojem zaboravljamo što doista slavimo, kazao je Kutleša predvodeći misu u Bogoslužnom prostoru blaženog Alojzija Stepinca.
Osvrnuvši se na stanje ljudskog duha spomenuo je nova poganstva koja se možda i neprimjetno uvlače u naše domove. O čemu se zapravo radi, nedostatku prirodne sposobnosti ljudskog duha da poštuje nešto više od sebe, umjesto toga na djelu je religija čovjeka kao novog boga, rekao je.
Novo poganstvo, naveo je Kutleša, ne poznaje božansku objavu kao mjerilo vrijednosti, jedino što iz Svetog pisma ponavlja je „ne sudi”, novo poganstvo ubija osjećaj stida i potrebu kajanja, ne treba mu spasitelj, novom poganinu nedostaje strahopoštovanja pred Bogom.
„Ne prepoznajemo radosnu vijest spasenja, već smo Boga pretvorili u dobrodušnog djedicu koji nam ljubav iskazuje tako što ispunjava sve naše sebične želje. Novo poganstvo je zapravo veliki trijumf želja”, istaknuo je.
Poručio je da Božić ne slavimo samo zato da bismo se iznutra osjećali sretni i zadovoljni ili samo zato što nam pomaže suočiti se sa životnim problemima ili zato što su nam dragi božićni običaji, već da slaviti Božić znači vjerovati Radosnoj vijesti jer je istinita.
„Bog nas, dragi vjernici, ne poziva na slavan, blještav i stalno uzbudljiv život. Poziva nas da vjerujemo Spasitelju, a zatim nas šalje natrag u našu životnu realnost kako bismo naučili radovati se njegovu spasenju iz dana u dan i to spasenje nositi drugima: razvezivati spone jarmene, dijeliti kruh s gladnima, krov s beskućnicima, zauzimati se za obespravljene i slabe.
