U zimskim je danima za ugostitelje pravi melem nekoliko ležernijih - ne državnih, ali ipak – blagdana. Praznik ljubavi, Valentinovo, jedan je od njih, a Dan žena (čuveni Osmi mart) kojega je donedavno Valentinovo potisnulo, ponovno biva sve aktualnije kao svojevrsni retro-događaj koji ni jednoj ženi nije mrzak (kao ni dobra porcija pečenoga). Uz cvijet, malen znak pažnje, to je uvijek "in".
No, prvo ide Dan zaljubljenih, mali praznik za sve koje je svetac Valentin dotaknuo svojom milošću, parove koji će vjerojatno svoju ljubav 14. veljače proslaviti uz romantičnu večeru, finu kapljicu vina i razmjenu ljupkih darova.
Dakako, ugostitelji i hotelijeri reagirali su promptno, štoviše, već tjednima ranije oglasili su što sve nude i po kojim cijenama. U paketima romantičnih večera koje mame zazubice stoje bifteci Wellington, medaljoni, mesna i riblja carpaccia, tartari, tune i lososi, gratinirane Jakobove kapice s parmezanom te drugi morski obor, a ni mesnih proteina ne nedostaje. Jedan splitski visokokategornik u sklopu mesnog jelovnika nudi čak i goluba, iz čega zaključujemo da chefa kužine nije nadahnula riba, nego ptica. Tu je i notorni, no ipak svima vazda mio pršut, te fini sirevi, a od slatkoga nude se svakojake delicije - od čokoladnih rapsodija, štrudela s maslacem, preljeva od vanilije i slatkog vrhnja i tako dalje, ma divota. Da dalje ne nabrajamo, svega blaga Božjega tu ima.
Jedino što to ove godine baš i nije "s Božje strane".
Naime, Godine Gospodnje 2024. Valentinovo pada na Čistu srijedu ili Pepelnicu, dan kad Crkva zapovijeda post i nemrs – drugim riječima, trebalo bi Valentinovo proslaviti s puno manje bjelančevina.
E sad, sumnjamo da su ugostitelji baš takvi blasfemici, da bi dušu vragu prodali za pedeset ili sto eura mesnog Valentinovskog jelovnika po glavi. Možda su i ateisti (okej), no slutimo da su vjerojatno jednostavno previdjeli da Dan zaljubljenih pada na Čistu srijedu (sridu). Moguće da, doduše, računaju s valentinovskim večerama više dana u veljači, koji je ionako već neko vrijeme (komercijalno nadahnut netko) prozvao "mjesecom ljubavi".
Što se crkvenog učenja tiče, Čistu srijedu treba provesti u duhu svekolikog odricanja od ovozemaljskih užitaka, a od posta i nemrsa su izuzeta samo djeca, bolesnici, trudnice, putnici i oni koji se nalaze u kakvoj nepovoljnoj situaciji, dok su oni između 14 godina i punoljetnosti pozvani na nemrs. Ostatak populacije – točnije, odrasli između 18. godine i navršene šezdesete – moraju primijeniti načelo posta i nemrsa na Čistu srijedu, čitaj, Valentinovo.
Postoji mogućost da su se ugostitelji u pozivnicama za svoje prpošne, berićetne i ne baš posne jelovnike obraćali onima iznad (ne tako stare) šezdesete godine? No, nekako sumnjamo u to da su im ciljana skupina "skoro-penzioneri", naime oni kojima je čak i država suosjećajno udijelila, recimo, besplatnu pokaznu kartu. Okej, možda se varamo...
Dakle, Čista srijeda je uz Veliki petak dan prožet poniznom pokornošću (po Crkvi), što bi za ugostitelje moglo značiti da će im Valentinovo prdnuti u lončić. Mi smo, doduše, sekularna država, ali nisu li restorateri prvi kad se oglašavaju, recimo, delicije od bakalara za Badnjak? Vidjet ćemo koliko su sad dosljedni. U stvari, već smo vidjeli...
No, Bog je milosrdan, pa ako netko i zgriješi u prehrambenom smislu, svo zlo u tome. Ionako se zna da iz usta više grijeha izlazi, nego što kroza nj ulazi. Na koncu, prava ljubav može preživjeti i "iskušenje teleće ruže".

U zimskim je danima za ugostitelje pravi melem nekoliko ležernijih - ne državnih, ali ipak – blagdana. Praznik ljubavi, Valentinovo, jedan je od njih, a Dan žena (čuveni Osmi mart) kojega je donedavno Valentinovo potisnulo, ponovno biva sve aktualnije kao svojevrsni retro-događaj koji ni jednoj ženi nije mrzak (kao ni dobra porcija pečenoga). Uz cvijet, malen znak pažnje, to je uvijek "in".
No, prvo ide Dan zaljubljenih, mali praznik za sve koje je svetac Valentin dotaknuo svojom milošću, parove koji će vjerojatno svoju ljubav 14. veljače proslaviti uz romantičnu večeru, finu kapljicu vina i razmjenu ljupkih darova.
Dakako, ugostitelji i hotelijeri reagirali su promptno, štoviše, već tjednima ranije oglasili su što sve nude i po kojim cijenama. U paketima romantičnih večera koje mame zazubice stoje bifteci Wellington, medaljoni, mesna i riblja carpaccia, tartari, tune i lososi, gratinirane Jakobove kapice s parmezanom te drugi morski obor, a ni mesnih proteina ne nedostaje. Jedan splitski visokokategornik u sklopu mesnog jelovnika nudi čak i goluba, iz čega zaključujemo da chefa kužine nije nadahnula riba, nego ptica. Tu je i notorni, no ipak svima vazda mio pršut, te fini sirevi, a od slatkoga nude se svakojake delicije - od čokoladnih rapsodija, štrudela s maslacem, preljeva od vanilije i slatkog vrhnja i tako dalje, ma divota. Da dalje ne nabrajamo, svega blaga Božjega tu ima.
Jedino što to ove godine baš i nije "s Božje strane".
Naime, Godine Gospodnje 2024. Valentinovo pada na Čistu srijedu ili Pepelnicu, dan kad Crkva zapovijeda post i nemrs – drugim riječima, trebalo bi Valentinovo proslaviti s puno manje bjelančevina.
E sad, sumnjamo da su ugostitelji baš takvi blasfemici, da bi dušu vragu prodali za pedeset ili sto eura mesnog Valentinovskog jelovnika po glavi. Možda su i ateisti (okej), no slutimo da su vjerojatno jednostavno previdjeli da Dan zaljubljenih pada na Čistu srijedu (sridu). Moguće da, doduše, računaju s valentinovskim večerama više dana u veljači, koji je ionako već neko vrijeme (komercijalno nadahnut netko) prozvao "mjesecom ljubavi".
Što se crkvenog učenja tiče, Čistu srijedu treba provesti u duhu svekolikog odricanja od ovozemaljskih užitaka, a od posta i nemrsa su izuzeta samo djeca, bolesnici, trudnice, putnici i oni koji se nalaze u kakvoj nepovoljnoj situaciji, dok su oni između 14 godina i punoljetnosti pozvani na nemrs. Ostatak populacije – točnije, odrasli između 18. godine i navršene šezdesete – moraju primijeniti načelo posta i nemrsa na Čistu srijedu, čitaj, Valentinovo.
Postoji mogućost da su se ugostitelji u pozivnicama za svoje prpošne, berićetne i ne baš posne jelovnike obraćali onima iznad (ne tako stare) šezdesete godine? No, nekako sumnjamo u to da su im ciljana skupina "skoro-penzioneri", naime oni kojima je čak i država suosjećajno udijelila, recimo, besplatnu pokaznu kartu. Okej, možda se varamo...
Dakle, Čista srijeda je uz Veliki petak dan prožet poniznom pokornošću (po Crkvi), što bi za ugostitelje moglo značiti da će im Valentinovo prdnuti u lončić. Mi smo, doduše, sekularna država, ali nisu li restorateri prvi kad se oglašavaju, recimo, delicije od bakalara za Badnjak? Vidjet ćemo koliko su sad dosljedni. U stvari, već smo vidjeli...
No, Bog je milosrdan, pa ako netko i zgriješi u prehrambenom smislu, svo zlo u tome. Ionako se zna da iz usta više grijeha izlazi, nego što kroza nj ulazi. Na koncu, prava ljubav može preživjeti i "iskušenje teleće ruže".
