Hrvatski stručnjaci slažu se da je neophodna dodatna opreznost zbog zabrinjavajuće pojave nekoliko novih sojeva koronavirusa koji se vrlo brzo šire i mogli bi zatrpati zdravstveni sustav puno brže nego originalni sojevi, piše u četvrtak Večernji list.

Profesor sa sveučilišta Goethe u Frankfurtu Ivan Đikić kaže kako se diljem EU očekuje pogoršanje situacije što se vidi i po povećanju broja novozaraženih kao i sve više hospitaliziranih i umrlih.

"Posebno zabrinjava pojava nekoliko novih sojeva virusa koji se vrlo brzo šire i mogli bi zatrpati zdravstveni sustav puno brže nego originalni sojevi. To nam ukazuje na neophodnu dodatnu opreznost prije svega pri uvođenju novih tehnologija testiranja i detektiranju širenja virusa, ali i na potrebu dodatne podrške zdravstvenom sustavu", smatra Đikić.

Slažu se s time i drugi stručnjaci.

Još imamo dosta populacije koja nije imuna na virus. Prema sadašnjim podacima o broju umrlih i stopi smrtnosti od 0,65 posto kolika je zabilježena u zapadnim zemljama, imamo manje od 15 posto inficiranog pučanstva, tek oko 580.000 ljudi.

Mutirani je virus zarazniji. Ako se pojavio, moglo bi doći do brzog širenja, a postoje naznake da je jedna varijanta i prisutna u Varaždinu, prema onome što je objavio prof. Kristian Vlahoviček sa suradnicima, a riječ je o varijanti iz Škotske.

Nema naznaka da uzrokuje težu bolest, međutim, ako se brže širi, bit će i više zaraženih, a tako i više hospitaliziranih, kaže virusni imunolog Bojan Polić s Medicinskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Rijeci. Ističe da je treći val moguć ne budemo li se držali epidemioloških mjera te ne bude li cijepljenje teklo odgovarajućom brzinom.

"A vjerojatno je da masovnije cijepljenje neće početi prije proljeća jer je dinamika isporuke cjepiva takva kakva jest, registrirana su, uostalom, dva cjepiva. Računam da bismo do ljeta mogli cijepiti maksimalno 30 do 40 posto stanovništva. I to samo budemo li jako dobro organizirani. S preboljelima je to maksimalno 50-ak posto. Do ljeta moramo biti oprezni i držati se epidemioloških mjera. I nadati se da turistička sezona neće donijeti još neku novu varijantu virusa", kaže Polić.

Da je mogućnost ponovnog povećanja broja oboljelih u Hrvatskoj vrlo visoka smatra i Nenad Ban s ETH u Zürichu.

"Postoje indikacije da se epidemiološka situacija poboljšala nakon što su potkraj studenoga uvedene strože mjere. Međutim, trenutačne brojke nisu sasvim mjerodavne zbog manjeg testiranja tijekom blagdana, ali i zbog velikog broja testiranja brzim testovima koji se ne ubrajaju u službene statistike.

Postoji nekoliko razloga za zabrinutost. Broj oboljelih u bolnicama zasad ne slijedi pad broja zaraženih, a smrtnost od COVID-19 je u Hrvatskoj još uvijek izuzetno visoka. Osim toga, još ne možemo procijeniti kako su društvene aktivnosti za blagdana utjecale na širenje virusa, to ćemo znati nakon nekoliko tjedana, kada se razviju simptomi kod starijih osoba koje će možda biti sekundarno inficirane.

Uza sve, sada se još moramo brinuti i zbog novog soja SARS-CoV-2 za koji postoje podaci da se širi puno brže od soja koji je trenutačno rasprostranjen u Hrvatskoj. Ako se takvo ubrzano širenje sada primijeti i u drugim europskim zemljama, to bi moglo imati jako teške posljedice. Zbog toga je važno da se trenutačne mjere u Hrvatskoj ne ublaže dok se bolje ne procijeni situacija i dok još ne postoji mogućnost da se veći broj ljudi u Hrvatskoj cijepi", zaključuje Ban za Večernji list.

Hrvatski stručnjaci slažu se da je neophodna dodatna opreznost zbog zabrinjavajuće pojave nekoliko novih sojeva koronavirusa koji se vrlo brzo šire i mogli bi zatrpati zdravstveni sustav puno brže nego originalni sojevi, piše u četvrtak Večernji list.

Profesor sa sveučilišta Goethe u Frankfurtu Ivan Đikić kaže kako se diljem EU očekuje pogoršanje situacije što se vidi i po povećanju broja novozaraženih kao i sve više hospitaliziranih i umrlih.

"Posebno zabrinjava pojava nekoliko novih sojeva virusa koji se vrlo brzo šire i mogli bi zatrpati zdravstveni sustav puno brže nego originalni sojevi. To nam ukazuje na neophodnu dodatnu opreznost prije svega pri uvođenju novih tehnologija testiranja i detektiranju širenja virusa, ali i na potrebu dodatne podrške zdravstvenom sustavu", smatra Đikić.

Slažu se s time i drugi stručnjaci.

Još imamo dosta populacije koja nije imuna na virus. Prema sadašnjim podacima o broju umrlih i stopi smrtnosti od 0,65 posto kolika je zabilježena u zapadnim zemljama, imamo manje od 15 posto inficiranog pučanstva, tek oko 580.000 ljudi.

Mutirani je virus zarazniji. Ako se pojavio, moglo bi doći do brzog širenja, a postoje naznake da je jedna varijanta i prisutna u Varaždinu, prema onome što je objavio prof. Kristian Vlahoviček sa suradnicima, a riječ je o varijanti iz Škotske.

Nema naznaka da uzrokuje težu bolest, međutim, ako se brže širi, bit će i više zaraženih, a tako i više hospitaliziranih, kaže virusni imunolog Bojan Polić s Medicinskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Rijeci. Ističe da je treći val moguć ne budemo li se držali epidemioloških mjera te ne bude li cijepljenje teklo odgovarajućom brzinom.

"A vjerojatno je da masovnije cijepljenje neće početi prije proljeća jer je dinamika isporuke cjepiva takva kakva jest, registrirana su, uostalom, dva cjepiva. Računam da bismo do ljeta mogli cijepiti maksimalno 30 do 40 posto stanovništva. I to samo budemo li jako dobro organizirani. S preboljelima je to maksimalno 50-ak posto. Do ljeta moramo biti oprezni i držati se epidemioloških mjera. I nadati se da turistička sezona neće donijeti još neku novu varijantu virusa", kaže Polić.

Da je mogućnost ponovnog povećanja broja oboljelih u Hrvatskoj vrlo visoka smatra i Nenad Ban s ETH u Zürichu.

"Postoje indikacije da se epidemiološka situacija poboljšala nakon što su potkraj studenoga uvedene strože mjere. Međutim, trenutačne brojke nisu sasvim mjerodavne zbog manjeg testiranja tijekom blagdana, ali i zbog velikog broja testiranja brzim testovima koji se ne ubrajaju u službene statistike.

Postoji nekoliko razloga za zabrinutost. Broj oboljelih u bolnicama zasad ne slijedi pad broja zaraženih, a smrtnost od COVID-19 je u Hrvatskoj još uvijek izuzetno visoka. Osim toga, još ne možemo procijeniti kako su društvene aktivnosti za blagdana utjecale na širenje virusa, to ćemo znati nakon nekoliko tjedana, kada se razviju simptomi kod starijih osoba koje će možda biti sekundarno inficirane.

Uza sve, sada se još moramo brinuti i zbog novog soja SARS-CoV-2 za koji postoje podaci da se širi puno brže od soja koji je trenutačno rasprostranjen u Hrvatskoj. Ako se takvo ubrzano širenje sada primijeti i u drugim europskim zemljama, to bi moglo imati jako teške posljedice. Zbog toga je važno da se trenutačne mjere u Hrvatskoj ne ublaže dok se bolje ne procijeni situacija i dok još ne postoji mogućnost da se veći broj ljudi u Hrvatskoj cijepi", zaključuje Ban za Večernji list.

Hrvatski stručnjaci slažu se da je neophodna dodatna opreznost zbog zabrinjavajuće pojave nekoliko novih sojeva koronavirusa koji se vrlo brzo šire i mogli bi zatrpati zdravstveni sustav puno brže nego originalni sojevi, piše u četvrtak Večernji list.

Profesor sa sveučilišta Goethe u Frankfurtu Ivan Đikić kaže kako se diljem EU očekuje pogoršanje situacije što se vidi i po povećanju broja novozaraženih kao i sve više hospitaliziranih i umrlih.

"Posebno zabrinjava pojava nekoliko novih sojeva virusa koji se vrlo brzo šire i mogli bi zatrpati zdravstveni sustav puno brže nego originalni sojevi. To nam ukazuje na neophodnu dodatnu opreznost prije svega pri uvođenju novih tehnologija testiranja i detektiranju širenja virusa, ali i na potrebu dodatne podrške zdravstvenom sustavu", smatra Đikić.

Slažu se s time i drugi stručnjaci.

Još imamo dosta populacije koja nije imuna na virus. Prema sadašnjim podacima o broju umrlih i stopi smrtnosti od 0,65 posto kolika je zabilježena u zapadnim zemljama, imamo manje od 15 posto inficiranog pučanstva, tek oko 580.000 ljudi.

Mutirani je virus zarazniji. Ako se pojavio, moglo bi doći do brzog širenja, a postoje naznake da je jedna varijanta i prisutna u Varaždinu, prema onome što je objavio prof. Kristian Vlahoviček sa suradnicima, a riječ je o varijanti iz Škotske.

Nema naznaka da uzrokuje težu bolest, međutim, ako se brže širi, bit će i više zaraženih, a tako i više hospitaliziranih, kaže virusni imunolog Bojan Polić s Medicinskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Rijeci. Ističe da je treći val moguć ne budemo li se držali epidemioloških mjera te ne bude li cijepljenje teklo odgovarajućom brzinom.

"A vjerojatno je da masovnije cijepljenje neće početi prije proljeća jer je dinamika isporuke cjepiva takva kakva jest, registrirana su, uostalom, dva cjepiva. Računam da bismo do ljeta mogli cijepiti maksimalno 30 do 40 posto stanovništva. I to samo budemo li jako dobro organizirani. S preboljelima je to maksimalno 50-ak posto. Do ljeta moramo biti oprezni i držati se epidemioloških mjera. I nadati se da turistička sezona neće donijeti još neku novu varijantu virusa", kaže Polić.

Da je mogućnost ponovnog povećanja broja oboljelih u Hrvatskoj vrlo visoka smatra i Nenad Ban s ETH u Zürichu.
