Godinama su ljudi nalazili mrtve velike bijele psine na plaži. Stanovnici grada Mossel Bay u Južnoafričkoj republici, te mjesta u okolici, nisu znali koji bi predator mogao napadati životinje dugačke gotovo tri metra i čupati im jetru, prenosi VauMijau.

Što god da se to na pučini događalo, bilo im je jezivo, i zapravo su bili prilično sretni da se to događa što dalje od njih.

S vremenom, leševa je bilo sve više. Broj psina se počeo smanjivati. Nekada ih je bilo 900, a u nekoliko godina brojka se smanjila na 552. Čak se neko vrijeme sumnjalo da su posve nestale, a istovremeno su se pojavile orke.

Znanstvenici su pokušavali otkriti što se događa. Brojne teorije su bile odbačene, a na kraju je jedna potvrđena uz pomoć drona. On je snimio prizor koji je pomalo uznemirujući, premda je u prirodi posve normalan.

Orke su te koje napadaju morske pse. Premda su oni prilično vješti lovci, orke imaju posebne strategije grupnog lova, pa su psine bespomoćne. Nikako se ne mogu obraniti kad im orke nasrnu na jetra, donosi National Geographic.

Zbog toga ne čudi da ove godine na tom području nije viđena niti jedna velika bijela psina. Očito je da su ih orke uplašile i otjerale dalje od nekadašnjeg staništa.

Godinama su ljudi nalazili mrtve velike bijele psine na plaži. Stanovnici grada Mossel Bay u Južnoafričkoj republici, te mjesta u okolici, nisu znali koji bi predator mogao napadati životinje dugačke gotovo tri metra i čupati im jetru, prenosi VauMijau.

Što god da se to na pučini događalo, bilo im je jezivo, i zapravo su bili prilično sretni da se to događa što dalje od njih.

S vremenom, leševa je bilo sve više. Broj psina se počeo smanjivati. Nekada ih je bilo 900, a u nekoliko godina brojka se smanjila na 552. Čak se neko vrijeme sumnjalo da su posve nestale, a istovremeno su se pojavile orke.

Znanstvenici su pokušavali otkriti što se događa. Brojne teorije su bile odbačene, a na kraju je jedna potvrđena uz pomoć drona. On je snimio prizor koji je pomalo uznemirujući, premda je u prirodi posve normalan.

Orke su te koje napadaju morske pse. Premda su oni prilično vješti lovci, orke imaju posebne strategije grupnog lova, pa su psine bespomoćne. Nikako se ne mogu obraniti kad im orke nasrnu na jetra, donosi National Geographic.

Zbog toga ne čudi da ove godine na tom području nije viđena niti jedna velika bijela psina. Očito je da su ih orke uplašile i otjerale dalje od nekadašnjeg staništa.

Godinama su ljudi nalazili mrtve velike bijele psine na plaži. Stanovnici grada Mossel Bay u Južnoafričkoj republici, te mjesta u okolici, nisu znali koji bi predator mogao napadati životinje dugačke gotovo tri metra i čupati im jetru, prenosi VauMijau.

Što god da se to na pučini događalo, bilo im je jezivo, i zapravo su bili prilično sretni da se to događa što dalje od njih.

S vremenom, leševa je bilo sve više. Broj psina se počeo smanjivati. Nekada ih je bilo 900, a u nekoliko godina brojka se smanjila na 552. Čak se neko vrijeme sumnjalo da su posve nestale, a istovremeno su se pojavile orke.

Znanstvenici su pokušavali otkriti što se događa. Brojne teorije su bile odbačene, a na kraju je jedna potvrđena uz pomoć drona. On je snimio prizor koji je pomalo uznemirujući, premda je u prirodi posve normalan.

Orke su te koje napadaju morske pse. Premda su oni prilično vješti lovci, orke imaju posebne strategije grupnog lova, pa su psine bespomoćne. Nikako se ne mogu obraniti kad im orke nasrnu na jetra, donosi National Geographic.

Zbog toga ne čudi da ove godine na tom području nije viđena niti jedna velika bijela psina. Očito je da su ih orke uplašile i otjerale dalje od nekadašnjeg staništa.
