Napretkom tehnologije, i pomorska industrija nalazi se pred izazovom autonomije brodova. Povećanje sigurnosti, smanjenje troškova, rješenje za nedostatak radne snage samo su neki od zagovaračkih teorija koje se provlače kroz ovu temu. Predviđanja su da će na početku, kada krenu prvi autonomni brodovi na duža putovanja, ljudska posada nadgledati operacije na brodu, a plan je s vremenom razviti potpuno autonoman sustav koji će omogućiti plovidbu bez posade i kapetana i u kojem će računala i umjetna inteligencija preuzeti kontrolu nad plovilima.
No, je li to baš sve toliko opravdano, izvedivo, etički i potrebno, raspravljalo se na predavanju "MASS – Maritime Autonomus Surface Ships" na Pomorskom fakultetu u Splitu ovog petka, u organizaciji Hrvatske udruge pomorskih kapetana i Udruge pomorskih kapetana Split.
Gosti su bili, što uživo, što putem video linka: dipl. ing. Marinko Popović iz Hrvatskog registra brodova, kap. Ivan Šantić, Sinikka Hartonen iz Finske, dr. sc. kap. Toni Bielić, kap. Rino Bošnjak, te dr. sc. Đula Nađ sa zagrebačkog FER-a.
- Iako su neki koraci već napravljeni, ostaje pitanje kada će sve to zaista zaživjeti. Danas plove autonomni brodovi, no riječ je o malim teretnim brodovima u fjordovima u Norveškoj, koji plove na jako kratkim relacijama. Morate imati na umu da pogon na baterije ne može na duge vijađe. Primjerice, kod nas takav brod ne bi mogao ni izaći iz Jadrana.

Puno je tu pitanja, od legislative do prakse. Recimo, strojarnica broda traži da netko reagira na alarm kada se oglasi. Pa, onda primjer putničkog broda: ako jednog dana pustite da automat vozi jedan putnički brod s 8, 9 tisuća putnika, tko će preuzeti odgovornost za sigurnost tih ljudi i plovidbe?
Ono što je realno jest da tehnologija napreduje i time se događa unaprijeđenje sigurnosti. Iako će brod biti sposoban neke aktivnosti obaviti sam, i dalje će biti posade na njemu. Studenti koji sada uče o autonimnim brodovima jednog dana će zasigurno imati priliku raditi neke poslove vezane uz automatizaciju, no i dalje će ljudski faktor biti ključ svega - smatra kapetan Sanjin Dumanić iz Udruge pomorskih strojara Split.
Dekan Pomorskog fakulteta Pero Vidan istaknuo je je ovaj fakultet, u koraku s vremenom, uvrstio nove studijske predmete koji se dotiču pitanja autonomije brodova, posebno po pitanju sigurnosti, no i on smatra kako je ljudska posada nezamjenjiva, a svaki napredat tehnologije treba iskoristiti kao pomoć.

Marinko Popović iz Hrvatskog registra brodova upoznao je sudionike predavanja s razvojem legislative oko autonomnih brodova.
- Propisi su još u radnoj fazi, a plan je da stupe na snagu 2028. godine kada će se odnositi na teretne autonomne brodove u međunarodnoj plovidbi, i to ukoliko budu uopće osposobljeni za to, nipošto za putničke - kazao je.
Da će automatizacija poboljšati sigurnost plovidbe, slaže se i kapetan Damir Lakoš iz zagrebačke udruge kapetana.
- Daleko smo mi od priče oko potpune autonomije brodova, ali o višem stupnju automatizacije možemo pričati jer se već ugrađuje dodatna oprema, te senzori na brodovima koji će poboljšati sigurnost plovidbe. Svakako, razdvojio bih pojam autonomnog broda i broda bez posade, kazao je.
Hrvatska pamet već radi konkretne projekte poput Fakulteta elektrotehnike i računarstva na kojem je Đula Nađ zajedno s kolegama, već predstavio inovaciju ‘Autonomni katamaran za marikulturu‘ i osvojio nagradu svjetske organizacije za intelektualno vlasništvo (WIPO) za najbolju međunarodnu inovaciju sajma.
FER je prije dvije godine sudjelovao i u međunarodnom podvodnom eksperimentu ‘Podvodna komunikacija na daljinu – od Novog Zelanda do Hrvatske‘ kada je testirana novozelandska ronilačka rukavica za komunikaciju s hrvatskim autonomnim podvodnim vozilom (engl. Autonomous Underwater Vehicle, AUV).

Napretkom tehnologije, i pomorska industrija nalazi se pred izazovom autonomije brodova. Povećanje sigurnosti, smanjenje troškova, rješenje za nedostatak radne snage samo su neki od zagovaračkih teorija koje se provlače kroz ovu temu. Predviđanja su da će na početku, kada krenu prvi autonomni brodovi na duža putovanja, ljudska posada nadgledati operacije na brodu, a plan je s vremenom razviti potpuno autonoman sustav koji će omogućiti plovidbu bez posade i kapetana i u kojem će računala i umjetna inteligencija preuzeti kontrolu nad plovilima.
No, je li to baš sve toliko opravdano, izvedivo, etički i potrebno, raspravljalo se na predavanju "MASS – Maritime Autonomus Surface Ships" na Pomorskom fakultetu u Splitu ovog petka, u organizaciji Hrvatske udruge pomorskih kapetana i Udruge pomorskih kapetana Split.
Gosti su bili, što uživo, što putem video linka: dipl. ing. Marinko Popović iz Hrvatskog registra brodova, kap. Ivan Šantić, Sinikka Hartonen iz Finske, dr. sc. kap. Toni Bielić, kap. Rino Bošnjak, te dr. sc. Đula Nađ sa zagrebačkog FER-a.
- Iako su neki koraci već napravljeni, ostaje pitanje kada će sve to zaista zaživjeti. Danas plove autonomni brodovi, no riječ je o malim teretnim brodovima u fjordovima u Norveškoj, koji plove na jako kratkim relacijama. Morate imati na umu da pogon na baterije ne može na duge vijađe. Primjerice, kod nas takav brod ne bi mogao ni izaći iz Jadrana.

Puno je tu pitanja, od legislative do prakse. Recimo, strojarnica broda traži da netko reagira na alarm kada se oglasi. Pa, onda primjer putničkog broda: ako jednog dana pustite da automat vozi jedan putnički brod s 8, 9 tisuća putnika, tko će preuzeti odgovornost za sigurnost tih ljudi i plovidbe?
Ono što je realno jest da tehnologija napreduje i time se događa unaprijeđenje sigurnosti. Iako će brod biti sposoban neke aktivnosti obaviti sam, i dalje će biti posade na njemu. Studenti koji sada uče o autonimnim brodovima jednog dana će zasigurno imati priliku raditi neke poslove vezane uz automatizaciju, no i dalje će ljudski faktor biti ključ svega - smatra kapetan Sanjin Dumanić iz Udruge pomorskih strojara Split.
Dekan Pomorskog fakulteta Pero Vidan istaknuo je je ovaj fakultet, u koraku s vremenom, uvrstio nove studijske predmete koji se dotiču pitanja autonomije brodova, posebno po pitanju sigurnosti, no i on smatra kako je ljudska posada nezamjenjiva, a svaki napredat tehnologije treba iskoristiti kao pomoć.

Marinko Popović iz Hrvatskog registra brodova upoznao je sudionike predavanja s razvojem legislative oko autonomnih brodova.
- Propisi su još u radnoj fazi, a plan je da stupe na snagu 2028. godine kada će se odnositi na teretne autonomne brodove u međunarodnoj plovidbi, i to ukoliko budu uopće osposobljeni za to, nipošto za putničke - kazao je.
Da će automatizacija poboljšati sigurnost plovidbe, slaže se i kapetan Damir Lakoš iz zagrebačke udruge kapetana.
- Daleko smo mi od priče oko potpune autonomije brodova, ali o višem stupnju automatizacije možemo pričati jer se već ugrađuje dodatna oprema, te senzori na brodovima koji će poboljšati sigurnost plovidbe. Svakako, razdvojio bih pojam autonomnog broda i broda bez posade, kazao je.
Hrvatska pamet već radi konkretne projekte poput Fakulteta elektrotehnike i računarstva na kojem je Đula Nađ zajedno s kolegama, već predstavio inovaciju ‘Autonomni katamaran za marikulturu‘ i osvojio nagradu svjetske organizacije za intelektualno vlasništvo (WIPO) za najbolju međunarodnu inovaciju sajma.
FER je prije dvije godine sudjelovao i u međunarodnom podvodnom eksperimentu ‘Podvodna komunikacija na daljinu – od Novog Zelanda do Hrvatske‘ kada je testirana novozelandska ronilačka rukavica za komunikaciju s hrvatskim autonomnim podvodnim vozilom (engl. Autonomous Underwater Vehicle, AUV).
