Bilo je fantastično, Dora mi je bila nevjerojatno iskustvo! Iznenadila me organizacija, atmosfera, uživala sam i tih tjedan dana na probama i na samoj večeri nastupa, ma sve je bilo divno! - oduševljeno nam je ispričala jedna od plesačica koje su pratile nastup Dubrovkinje Maje Grgić na izboru za pjesmu za Eurosong, Melissa Drew Vidoš. Ova Kanađanka ‘udala’ se u Grad i tu stvorila obiteljsko gnijezdo. Njezin suprug, dubrovački zapovjednik na putničkim brodovima Iv Vidoš i njihovo dvoje djece pozorno su pratili mamin nastup, a nakon odlično odrađenog posla, obitelj je otišla na mali odmor na snijegu, no Melissino oduševljenje ne popušta.

-Adrenalin je stalno bio visok, a treme nisam imala, i inače nemam tremu na nastupima, dapače. Kao profesionalna plesačica obožavam to što radim, posebno volim ovakve drugačije nastupe i projekte. Cijeli život plešem, no zadnjih godina nisam toliko vježbala jer su djeca bila mala pa sam bila stalno oko njih, ali uvijek nastojim sudjelovati u svemu što se priprema u Dubrovniku” - priča Melissa koja sjajno govori hrvatski, i to s jakim dubrovačkim naglaskom. Za to joj je, dodaje, trebalo dugo vremena.

-Ma prvih godina nisam ništa pričala nigdje! Jer uglavnom su mi se svi smijali, pa nisam ni pokušavala, ali zadnjih godina sam ‘progovorila’, iako me svaki dan kćer i muž stalno ispravljaju” - kroz smijeh će ova plesačica koja se ipak jako dobro uklopila u dubrovački način života. ‘Naš što’ joj je svaki početak rečenice, što zvuči iznimno simpatično pogotovo iz usta Kanađanke čiji je jezični početak u Gradu bio teži od očekivanog. Nakon što je prevladala tu prepreku, sve drugo išlo je lakše, pa je nakon plesačke pauze brzo ‘uskočila’ u nastup na Dori.

-Još uvijek sam u šoku od organizacije Dore, od ljudi, pozornice, proba, atmosfere, rasvjete,... ma sve je bilo fantastično. Kad je došla večer nastupa jedva smo čekali, stvarno smo se tjedan dana žestoko pripremali, konstantne probe ne daju vam baš puno vremena za odmor. Za večer nastupa zaista smo osjetili da smo potpuno spremni, nije bilo mjesta ni tremi, ni ikakvom strahu, jednostavno je to bilo to. I opet bi!”- oduševljeno će Melissa koja, iako profesionalna plesačica, ne namjerava zasad osnovati svoj studio ili raditi na taj način, no nekad u budućnosti - i tome se veseli.

-Zasad radim po projektu, pogotovo kad to sjajna ekipa plesačica priprema, Belinda i Patrycja obično uvijek imaju ideje, a i meni su djeca sad već 7 i 9 godina i puno je lakše. Ali ništa konkretno ne mogu još govoriti, vidjet ćemo!”.

Bilo je fantastično, Dora mi je bila nevjerojatno iskustvo! Iznenadila me organizacija, atmosfera, uživala sam i tih tjedan dana na probama i na samoj večeri nastupa, ma sve je bilo divno! - oduševljeno nam je ispričala jedna od plesačica koje su pratile nastup Dubrovkinje Maje Grgić na izboru za pjesmu za Eurosong, Melissa Drew Vidoš. Ova Kanađanka ‘udala’ se u Grad i tu stvorila obiteljsko gnijezdo. Njezin suprug, dubrovački zapovjednik na putničkim brodovima Iv Vidoš i njihovo dvoje djece pozorno su pratili mamin nastup, a nakon odlično odrađenog posla, obitelj je otišla na mali odmor na snijegu, no Melissino oduševljenje ne popušta.

-Adrenalin je stalno bio visok, a treme nisam imala, i inače nemam tremu na nastupima, dapače. Kao profesionalna plesačica obožavam to što radim, posebno volim ovakve drugačije nastupe i projekte. Cijeli život plešem, no zadnjih godina nisam toliko vježbala jer su djeca bila mala pa sam bila stalno oko njih, ali uvijek nastojim sudjelovati u svemu što se priprema u Dubrovniku” - priča Melissa koja sjajno govori hrvatski, i to s jakim dubrovačkim naglaskom. Za to joj je, dodaje, trebalo dugo vremena.

-Ma prvih godina nisam ništa pričala nigdje! Jer uglavnom su mi se svi smijali, pa nisam ni pokušavala, ali zadnjih godina sam ‘progovorila’, iako me svaki dan kćer i muž stalno ispravljaju” - kroz smijeh će ova plesačica koja se ipak jako dobro uklopila u dubrovački način života. ‘Naš što’ joj je svaki početak rečenice, što zvuči iznimno simpatično pogotovo iz usta Kanađanke čiji je jezični početak u Gradu bio teži od očekivanog. Nakon što je prevladala tu prepreku, sve drugo išlo je lakše, pa je nakon plesačke pauze brzo ‘uskočila’ u nastup na Dori.

-Još uvijek sam u šoku od organizacije Dore, od ljudi, pozornice, proba, atmosfere, rasvjete,... ma sve je bilo fantastično. Kad je došla večer nastupa jedva smo čekali, stvarno smo se tjedan dana žestoko pripremali, konstantne probe ne daju vam baš puno vremena za odmor. Za večer nastupa zaista smo osjetili da smo potpuno spremni, nije bilo mjesta ni tremi, ni ikakvom strahu, jednostavno je to bilo to. I opet bi!”- oduševljeno će Melissa koja, iako profesionalna plesačica, ne namjerava zasad osnovati svoj studio ili raditi na taj način, no nekad u budućnosti - i tome se veseli.

-Zasad radim po projektu, pogotovo kad to sjajna ekipa plesačica priprema, Belinda i Patrycja obično uvijek imaju ideje, a i meni su djeca sad već 7 i 9 godina i puno je lakše. Ali ništa konkretno ne mogu još govoriti, vidjet ćemo!”.
